Ever think about selling one of those pistols, and getting a desk that isn't made of particle wood and laminate?

t. consumer cuck

No, because he's a brainlet.

>selling one of those pistols

Selling guns? You some sort of communist?

What would be the advantage of a desk that isn't made of particle wood and laminate?

1: It's the most solid desk I've ever used, it's large, heavy and indestructible
2: An equivalent quality solid wood desk this wide, deep and thick would cost like 5+ guns
3: I don't sell guns

I love my desk.

are the k95's and k70's of today compatible with custom keycaps or is the spacebar still fucked and offset

i know it's not "Jow Forums approved", and i'd get a pok3r or something but i've had corsair forever so i just stick with them because i know the product i'm getting is what i'm used to.

there are custom keycaps for them, you just need to find the sets that come with the additional keycaps. Aliexpress has a bunch if you just want some cheap chink shit

yeah i just remember my version of the k70 doesn't work with a full set on the bottom row because it's non-standard, was just wondering if they fixed this.

I don't think corsair will ever fix that because gaymers NEED an extra long Ctrl key

>tfw typing on cherry mx switches

so you're a pussy?

>typing on a light switch with no tactility makes you a pussy
wut?

This is an old radar machine from the 60s with linear switches of some sort, scratchy as fuck but not bad considering age.

I was at the Canadian military comms museum, they had some interesting terminals and boards, though this was the only one that was allowed to be touched.

The SA caps are still awesome though.

Attached: IMG_20180831_133540.jpg (4608x3456, 3.14M)

Terminal, idk what switches since can't touch.

Attached: IMG_20180831_133305.jpg (4608x3456, 2.14M)

Another one that looked fairly cool. Idk what it is exactly but the board is nice looking.

Attached: IMG_20180831_133252.jpg (3456x4608, 1.95M)

Neat!

SA isn't synonymous with "old, high profile spherical" just saiyan. SA caps are nowhere near that dished, nor do they have edges that rounded.

Fuck you for reminding me of that lady

Maybe if i flip the pic it ill post it notflipped

you been drinking sir?

You could have just gotten some non-meme keycap set rather than downgrading to dogshit rubber domes.

>implying my old keyboard was not a rubber dome

Attached: IMG_20180130_145931_HHT.jpg (4000x3000, 2.72M)

Intentionally making your keyboard mushy to quieten it isn't the same m8.

No im swear oficser 8ve not driknen a single drop of alhocol.

Attached: 20180901_223631.jpg (4032x3024, 3.5M)

nope you wrong. the definition of rubber dome is based around the concept of mushiness if a rubber dome is not mushy they call it premium HHKB or super cool mechanical vintage IBM model M

it's funny since even premium rubber domes feel better and last longer then all the mainstream switches out there.

The fuck are you talking about? That's not at all the definition of a rubber dome.

Attached: Membrane vs Rubber Dome.png (1199x781, 226K)

that's a dictionary definition, no one follows those defenitions

>thinks domes and rings are the same
2/10 I replied.

those aren't the dictionary definitions either

?

dude im the one playing games here shut the fuck off

the only game you're playing is giving me more (You)s

no you giving me the yous!

>keyboard general
>only 8 keyboards have been posted so far
Well that is to be expected because you don't need any other keyboard since pic related exists

you missing a fantasy because that never existed

>card reader version is cheaper then the media version
>calls others poorfags

Attached: g.jpg (1142x885, 1.24M)

bought a paradise v80 because i was tired of using a 60%

was one of two keyboards that i could find with BOX navy switches

these switches are fucking amazing

wish this keyboard gave me a metal case option and i would consider it near perfect (feel wise)

Attached: Capture.jpg (1131x838, 57K)

the topre trolls from three years ago were much better then the same reposted images

>he thinks box blues are fucking amazing
ahahahahaha holyshit user how pleb and clueless can you be?

Enjoy hard bottoming out every time, enjoy your keycap stems cracking from poor tolerances, and enjoy that unrefined tactility.

Box navy/jade: for the idiot that thinks more tactility = better.

Wait till you find tactile alps clones kek, i bet you'll think those are "amazing" as well.

>he doesn't know that box navies have had their stems slimmed down recently

oh yeah, and every v80 out in the market has updated stems because they retooled two weeks ago.

enjoy your loud high pitched plinking.

As long as that user doesn't put GMK caps on it it's really not that big of a deal. They're overpriced to hell anyway.

Well the xd87 I ordered came in, but the plate doesn't accept alps switches. Not only that, but 4 of the switches don't work half the time.
Any switches worth looking into besides cherry or alps switches?

Buckling spring, those new chink hall effect boards, the analog optical switches, etc.

ok

thx

how did you improve your typing speed/wpm frens

I just got my Ducky keyboard and I've been doing at least 30-40 minutes worth of typing tests throughout the day. I average about 85 wpm at a steady pace and I'm aiming to reach at least 100 wpm at a steady pace in two months

Attached: Altelier_Sophie_Firis_Lydie_Suelle_Official_Visual_Collection_034.jpg (1148x1568, 241K)

Just practice really. Though proper technique does help. Don't tense up while typing, use a comfortable position, etc.

What is proper technique user? And yeah, I try not to tense up but my right thumb still seems to

Fingers on home row
Hands hovered above the keyboard
Using the standard finger map for touch typing

I'm retarded, you said at the end of your post

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative to a tex yoda?

It's amazing how so few words can raise so many questions. Also just get different caps.

Why is it so hard to find a god damn 65% hot swap with an aluminum low profile case fuck

The most silent tactile switch. Is it cherry browns? Is it Topre? I don't know

only laptop keyboards with rubber dome switches. I want change. Was looking at plankc, niu mini, poker... They all look the same to me.

looks comfy, what is this?

Cherry MX 3.0, iKDC, or a Ducky

>dual windows buttons
fucking why

Corsair K66
Why is it so cheap and is it a deal-braker (poorfag here)?

anyone know a 60% kit (don't care if it's split or not) that has a similar layout to the iris?

not him, but I use the super key as the modifier for my window manager. sometimes i want to hit super+q, sometimes i want to hit super+p. it's a lot easier when i have an option for either pinky

looks like a levinson or some other split ortho

still dont know what to buy.
Which tactile switches are the most silent ones?

I dunno like uhh any of them. Browns are shit, don't get those. I use Zealio 67g with zealencio clips and i don't get any complaints from the normies at work

are those purple zealios?

yeah

Aliaz and Zilents have internal dampening

Nice dick compensation. Was it really necessary for someone to take a picture of ten guns next to their gaming keyboard and mouse?

Terrorist
Street thug

why are you thinking so hard about other people dicks user?

> Wait, this feels so familiar. Like really familiar.
> OMG, this feels like my Topre board

Maybe Topre really are meme switches. I paid 10 bucks for this POS no-name Chink USB keyboard a decade ago at a flea market that received goods by the container ship from China.

And you know what? It feels like a perfectly balanced Topre board. Except for a too-shrill and too-rattly spacebar, this cheap membrane thocks like a real Topre board.

Either I have lucked out and possess the only decent cheap no-name Membrane keyboard ever built, or Topres aren't all that great after all.

Man, am I ever confused.

Is this what a typical rubber dome keyboard looks like internally? I have not owned a standard run-of-the-mill POS rubber dome in ages. Is this typical?

K66 is fully plastic and doesnt have a thick, braided cable. Also no gaming marketing. Think thats about it.

>"be me"
>faggy plebbit formatting

it all fits

> be you

This is Jow Forums-tier logic if ever I saw it.

"> be you"
do kill yourself

this means there's even more to save by going brandless with knock-off switches, is there some /mkg/ value for money favorite that's often recommended? I just want to upgrade from membranes, I'm fine with plastic and I only expect decent(ish) quality
