when i was doing part-time web design & dev pajeetism, the 16 memebytes eventually felt like barebones to run web browser or two, multiple adobes and loonix vmware virtual machines for various things in parallel. then i realized how fucking expensive 4x8gig ddr3 sticks were even for 2017.
