literally chrome fuck that

Quzilla is now known as Falkon.

Konqueror: defunct

GNOME Web/Epiphany: pretty snappy, but a little bare. It's the the notepad of browsers. Lacks a "never remember history" option.

Falkon: like Epiphany, but with more features. Also lacks "never remember history," but it's easier to work around that than with the above.

I second Falkon. Used it for a bit, fantastic browser. Might make me leave Qutebrowser if it gets a vim keybinding plugin. Or if I ever get around to making that.

What's better about it compared to qutebrowser?

IceCat > Firefox >>> Brave (once in v1.0) >>>>> anything else

>Mozilla partners with Soros to fight misinformation
They didn't do a good job apparently because you're obviously retarded enough to believe that they partnered with him.

It's faster, The base system is the same, but the GUI is written in C++.
Qutebrowser's GUI is written in python. Much more hackable, but much laggier on my x200.

seems like lynx is the browser for me
thanks user!

Falkon is alright but I really dislike how fat the UI is. the best part about qute is how much screen economy there is.

Uzbl is based

>vivaldi
a stupid chrome skin for retards packaged with botnet

Is Opera free of SJW bs? I'm about to dump Firefox

Attached: 1366540058045.jpg (500x330, 22K)

Last time I tried using Falkon and wanted to watch some YT videos, the RAM usage went through the roof. Far more than when I used FF.

>moving from the best browser engine to a shit one
>moving to a proprietary browser
Are you ok?

No duckduckgo?
Also why is ramfox in excellent?

Microsoft Edge but only without an Internet connection.

Icecat is great but slowish and memory hungry.

That's true, but I'm pretty sure Falkon is themeable. Maybe it can be themed to look similar to Qute.

Attached: Qute has fantastic screen economy.png (1280x800, 244K)

Chrome is literally the worst chrome-like browser
You're retarded I'd you use vanilla Google Chrome

I've been on firefox for a decade and I have no complaints except for the memory leaks. You won't avoid the botnet though, if that's your concern you should unplug your router.

It won't be once they move to Firefox 60 ESR as a base

Can you put extensions like uBlock Origin and uMatrix on any of these god-tier browsers?

Attached: Surf.png (88x40, 124)

spyware.neocities.org

ungoogled chromium, qutebrowser, otter-browser
The rest are botnets.

How is surf? I've been wanting to run a full suckless setup but so far just using st. Is surf a full browser or more along the lines of links/w3m?

It uses webkit. No bookmarks, umatrix or extensions. It is lightning fast tho

>Qute
I turned on the plugins on my qute, but it doesn't want to run the video on crunchyroll. On chrome i use the html5 player plugin and it's super neat. Is there a similar possibility for qute?

>rest are botnets
False
>ungoogled chromium, qutebrowser, otter-browser
>Blink browsers
Doesn't matter if a browser isn't a botnet when it's vulnerable to privacy/security breaches more than Firefox.

It's the most functional browser available and moderately fast, also there is no reason to suspect it of being botnet until proved otherwise

>crunchyroll
found your problem

Falkon works pretty well.

When? It's been months.

Grorious Operu browser is free of all baizuo

The same browser that implied Chrome was for white supremacists for having a pepe on one of their pictures of an update?

Daily reminder.

None because in all of them I have to try entering captcha like 20 times before being able to make a single post.

Oddly enough, Captcha works perfectly on Edge, I never get the No Valid Captach message there.

I use Iridium. Maybe it's botnet, but I don't care. It's really fast though and light weighted at the same time.

Everything after the first release of netrunner is botnet

I am now an /operator/. Thanks user-san

I use photon on my cell to watch porn. is china fapping at me right now

Seconding vivaldi.

I think pale moon is based on firefox

i use chrome canary its the best looking and fastest on my laptop

>'How do I avoid the botnet?' he asks, while trying to access the botnet
Just use faggotfox and try to ignore the fuckery going on behind the scenes at Mozilla.

Opera is spyware

Guys, please. Talk me out of switching from GNU IceCat to Ungoogled Chromium. I've been using versions of Firefox as my main browser ever since like 2009 and I'm really not looking forward to porting my shit over, but I just keep on finding that so many websites don't fucking work in IceCat. I'd go back and give Quantum a serious try, but I'd rather not use a undisputed botnet.

>firefox
>botnet
I'm still waiting for someone to post the lines of code that make disabling telemetry impossible.

Which version? Quantum or ESR? Then again, the very fact that IceCat exists makes me wonder if anyone is actually making the argument that you're countering.

>streaming anime instead of just downloading it to watch it all

whats the best browser for having 40 tabs open at once

Fuck yeah Vivaldi! It's what opera was before opera became ass.

>But user, you can install a dozen half-supported addons to firefox to get literally the same experience!
Yeah, i did that for a couple of years, with the addons breaking and bugging the hell out every so often. Having all the features i want built-in and actually supported is way more important for me than whatever firefox or chrome would add to the experience.

Windows explorer

Either, both. Unless you're new people having been saying you can't disable everything in Quantum. Just because people don't like defaults doesn't mean is "botnet".

>it's not botnet if I can stop it being botnet

Blink is an insecure engine. Firefox gives you better privacy options. Also, chromium browsers have absolute dogshit UI especially settings.

Attached: read.png (1530x800, 104K)

FF and all of it's offshoots source browser is cancer tier.

fuck off with that Jow Forums shit

So ungoogled chromium is botnet too?

No?

Yes, that's how it works. lol

I have rockmelt LITERALLY just because I think it has the coolest logo. I don’t give a shit i have more important things to worry about in my life than what browser someone has.

Qutebrowser is comfy as fuck. It lacks some good addons, but this will hopefully change in the future.
>inb4 lulz python
Yet it's faster and uses less memory than both Chrome and Firefox.

Doodle is a russian botnet.

The only thing keeping me on Firefox and preventing me from fully switching to qutebrowser is that the latter doesn't have the godly tree style tabs. Yes, I know it can have vertical tabs, but they are not as good, although still imho better than horizontal tabs.

Qutebrower, otter-browser, icecat once icecat 60 comes out.
Check here to compare: spyware.neocities.org/articles/

>he still posts this retards site

On Icecat, yes.

What's wrong with it? It's factual and more-or-less agrees with what the Jow Forums pics recommend anyway.

Into the trash it goes

Attached: 1487906273946.png (984x1862, 392K)

>more or less factual
Also see I have no unwanted requests on my network. How are to believe he knew how to use the software correctly?

I agree with the list except for FF Nightly, not sure about that one.

whats wrong with safari? only battery friendly browser in MacBook.

How good Otter browser security is? I must be worried?

>safari
>no privacy issues
Isnt that apple only? How do you know apple doesnt collect any telemetry whatsoever?

>Firefox on the same level as IceCat
Garbage.

I use NetSurf. Works on my machines.

Attached: 1525300527027.jpg (640x438, 49K)

how do you even install fuckin ungoogled chromium? Also what does Jow Forums think of advanced chrome
browser.taokaizen.com

Are we gonna get the Netrunner browser in the next 6 months?

that site is a meme. shit tier.

lynx is actually top tier dude, recheck your pic

Use Google Chrome with everything on default and no addons, on a Windows 10 installation with everything on default, running inside a VM connecting through TOR.

Seriously, browser fingerprinting is the worst thing that ever happened in history of the internet. After JavaScript.

You get it from git.

What is the most private, secure browser that I can use for most of the usual web stuff?

To my understand, the Tor Browser is the most private and secure browser, but it prevents you from accessing a lot of stuff online that are pretty necessary (banking, education, streaming, etc).

What about Brave?

where is servo and vivaldi u silly sluty

Ungoogled Chromium on a computer running Qubes OS with a VM opened to a GNU/Linux distro. That or TOR with even more layers of security.

all of them are botnet

Waterfox or Pale Moon

>Chromium-based browsers do not support user styles.
Vivaldi.
>Chromium-based browsers can't block data: ....
Has been fixed:
chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/ /919984
>Instant logic
Not targeting firefox cause of lower marketshare that's all.
>Not aware of any anti-fingerprinting initiative ...
irrelevant.

get help

>implying "Advanced" chrome is botnet-free

you can disable SJW crap in Firefox. be a Chad, make nerds make you great software for you to fight against their decadent values.

Make sure you're using webengine backend. It should see you as literally Chrome.

Icecat exists because Mozilla used to be much stricter about branding for patched versions. Debian used to call their Firefox Iceweasel for the same reason. Resolving that dispute eventually led to the creation of Firefox ESR since Debian needed more longevity from a browser release.

>not using lynx

I like Pale Moon because it doesn't take up 2GB of memory for 3 tabs of Jow Forums.

8GB of memory apparently isn't enough for modern browsers.

literally nothing wrong with waterfox
