zipquette*

It's a 3.5" floppy disk, sonny.

It's a save icon. It doesn't have any meaning.

So how long until SJW deem the old floppy disk icon an outdated symbol of the patriarchy which needs to be phased out?

>copying and pasting yospos threads
why am I still here

Ah, filled this bad boy up with a megabyte.

Not gonna lie, that boomer programmer age group who use floppy disks are always creepy as fuck.

Damn, that looks bigger than my 1TB SSD. How many HD movies could you store on one those bad boys?

The later generation floppies were usually 1,44 MB. Earlier floppies not even a single MB.

A floppy disk.

The earlier ones had 360 kB.

That's obviously a vinyl for storing vidya. Geez, kids these days.

What would be a universally understood save icon to replace the floppy?
Most of us still know what a floppy is but that won't be true 30 years from now.

And 180k and 400k and many other capacities. After all, there was more to the world than just PC compatibles.

I dont get it OP
I can't find that icon in my word processor

And...?

I think what's worse is that most kids in high school still can't figure out that you need to turn on both the tower and display

The blue "H" stands for "Hard Drive".

I can forgive this a little as the monitors are all funky with blue/orange being off and blue/orange being on.

The ones at the school I went to were LG monitors. The on button was white when it was on, and black when it was off. Still couldn't figure out why "the computer is broken".

50 images no too much 48 images yes just right and transfer
