We love to rip on Jow Forums here but in all honesty it is not that bad. Yes there is a lot of shitposting but much of it is legitimately funny and it is also possible to learn and get help with projects here.

Never used it, only website I used related to lain is lainchan and I actually liked it, very cyberpunk and sometimes very mature discussion, but pretty much dead nowadays

We should start a general for these threads, keeping the links in a pastebin would be smart as well.
