So non-systemd-ers, hypothetical situation: shock horror, your favourite distro goes systemd.
Which distro do you go to now?

I'll play: I'm on Slackware, and I doubt whether that will happen anytime in the near future. However, if there were to, it would be a choice between MX, Devuan or Void, I think. Or maybe antiX for the smaller machines.
Curl up and cry and accept your fate
When will this bullshit end?
SystemD isn't worth switching distros for. I sucked-it up and I'm happy.
That's exactly what they want.
By "they" you mean the majority? Ok.
sudo emerge -C systemd
ez pz
Buy myself a macbook.
Seriously, it wouldn't happen. This question is stupid.
plot twist: devuan goes systemd
systemd is an option I choose to not use.
>[25] default/linux/amd64/17.0/systemd (stable) *
Not sure if I should've used 17.1 (exp)
*universe implodes*

I guess that means I decided to switch to systemd and there's no need to switch.
I really don't care, but if I were to be one of (((them))), I would make a Linux From Scratch distro.
I think Void linux will be on of top distros very soon. They made probable the best tech for managing packages and rolling release stuff. And is all on github.
Are there any hints what the closed-source part of systemd contains?
Fuck you, Redhat Boy from Brazil.
Just keep sucking, sweetie.
I don't think it'll even build on musl. (This is a feature)
But gentoo already has systemd
I would still just use the OpenRC profile
Guatemala.
>devuan switches to systemd
huh
My favourite distro is a metadistribution. I simply replace the init system to one of my liking and carry on
what
systemd is fully free software
Would you mind explain to me why so many people are against systemd (outside of Jow Forums included)? Besides that it does multiple things but doesn't excel at anything.
because they are severely autistic and have never had to deal with init systems themselves
(checked)
>trading systemd for launchd
I know the Linux fags are insane but Apple makes them look like omniscient rational central planning code gods.
If you can't use runit you are a retard.
Cheers, user.
I'm a gentooman so the question doesn't even apply
Init isn't rocket science. But, for no good reason, systemd is.
>t.
>t.
Fuck off, Lennart.
