agree OP. this is the the first thing that seriously impressed me from apple. prior to that i was a try hard wintard that hated apple with a passion. but at the same time i was sick of my literal brick sized creative zen hdd player which had terrible software that constantly crashed both on windows and on the player itself. deciding to let go of carrying around my whole mp3 collection and instead limiting myself to 4gb was a bit of a leap of faith, but i never looked back. now full on in the apple ecosystem for at least the past 7 years (from macos & macbook as main computer, to iPhone, apple watch, iPad & beats headphones)
