good ones, but why would i tell the world what my defenses are?

>no self-destructing cookies

Been learning more about Mozilla as a company more and I kinda like them although the fact that over 80% of their funding comes from Google kinda bothers me.

Attached: a3hUcll.png (1595x469, 51K)

i sincerely hope you dont use that extension from the store, it logs all your shit on their server

>using anything other than umatrix and decentralytes

why would you need ublock origin, privacy badger, possum, squirrel, monkey, zebra and all that other shit

nothing more, nothing less.

Just out of curiosity why do you care if YT is in h264 or not?

so many screen space is wasted. Indeed, a perfect google design.

Why are you sing HTTPS E. and S. HTTPS?

>mfw I'm the only person with tampermonkey therefore the only one here that's using Jow Forums X

What the fucking hell? I'd rather kill myself than post with vanilla Jow Forums.

>Screengrab
Firefox has this functionality built-in.
Are you using a retarded clone or what?

>firefox
hahahaha

>t. braindead
keep laughing like an idiot

>Link cleaner
could use that on Jow Forums

hahahaha
why are you so mad? is it because you're still using 1080 monitor?

but I ain't mad, I merely pointed you're an idiot

>using the closed source tamperbotnet instead of the open source violentmonkey
lol

Pretty much pic related with a few other ones like tampermonkey and the like. You have good taste OP.

>being this mad you're poor using below 1080 on a poopoo labtop
hahahaha

None, my browser doesn't support them
>inb4 hurr durr yu no blok ads?
Qutebrowser has adblock integrated into it, and soon something like uMatrix as well.

well he is but one of the people you originally responded to, i am the guy who said you were a dummy for using a screenshot extension.. are you really so plebeian you cant just type in a single command to console with width/height cropping and grab your own damn x11 or whatever? or are you a microsoft drone

cool.

what am i looking at

>adblock latitude

the fuck is that looks like shit

>pale meme
>some random noname adblocker instead of ublock origin
>youtube download addon when youtube-dl and youtube-dlg exist
>needing an addon to take a screenshot, when firefox already has the option to screenshot the entire webpage built in
>stylish instead of stylus, almost 9 months after they've been exposed for stealing your entire browser history and after the extension has been pulled from both mozilla's AMO and even the google chrome store
this is some tasty bait mate. i rate you 8 out of 8

>violentmonkey

thanks for letting me know about this user

Attached: 17340872-origpic-a0cf1b.jpg (576x384, 10K)

just tested that user agent switcher. of course it does nothing for you, why do you even need this placebo? there is no way to not be unique anymore.

Attached: Screenshot_2018-09-04_10-44-18.png (1920x1059, 34K)

People call this an extension lead in the UK, but that's not what it is. For one thing most of them are nowhere near long enough to extend anything.

canvas defender

>extensions
sure if you like a glow in the dark browser fingerprint

ok, then what about audio fingerprints? theres always something else that will be jewed on you user. always

for technical historical useragent meaning anything is pretty irrelevant

was that english?

ForecastFox (yes i like having weather in the corner)
HTTPS Everywhere
Ublock Origin
Umatrix
Violent Monkey

Attached: Screenshot_2018-09-04_10-55-47.png (1918x1080, 35K)

every browser in history has spoofed their useragent to avoid being discriminated against
so except for stuff like mobile/desktop formatting reasons changing your useragent doesnt mean shit

i know that.but i was still telling the guy the extension doesnt stop you from being fingerprinted by something else

>>pale meme
I'm using XP, so it's either this or Firefox 52, which I've found to be bloated, unstable crap.
>>some random noname adblocker instead of ublock origin
I had AdBlock Plus installed, but it stopped working for some reason that I can't remember, so I installed that instead. I have no issues with it.
>>youtube download addon when youtube-dl and youtube-dlg exist
I'll look into those, but I've had no issues with Complete YouTube Saver. Downloading from Pornhub seems to be the biggest pain in the arse, and currently I don't have an add-on that can do that.
>>needing an addon to take a screenshot, when firefox already has the option to screenshot the entire webpage built in
How do I do that?
>>stylish instead of stylus, almost 9 months after they've been exposed for stealing your entire browser history and after the extension has been pulled from both mozilla's AMO and even the google chrome store
The faggots who develop Pale Moon changed the tab shape for no reason, so I used Stylish to restore the old style. I'll probably look into using Stylus instead.

>extensions
>sure if you like a glow in the dark browser fingerprint
You do realize this can be spoofed, right? User agent switchers are made for this.

see

Is HTTPS everywhere still reliable? I've been getting a notification that it needs new permissions (ie access to the data from websites) and that makes me freak out like you wouldn't believe. Anyone have any experience with this?

>mfw you're the only one left on Jow Forums that used to know what to spoof to avoid captchas

Attached: 1532638242299.jpg (1280x720, 103K)

Use Panopticlick. Also, why does it matter which variant of the browser is identified if you can verify it's not actually the one running on your machine? Just try again and post another screenshot.

ohh that ram black hole

"HTTPS Everywhere", "UBlock Origin", and "I don't care about cookies"

no idea, but it has about the biggest fucking source ive seen for something that has this function. most of the files are json, but the bulk of the size comes from the js files.. have a read through it if you have the time to check for shit, i dont lol

Attached: httpseverywheresource.png (998x4417, 1.06M)

Ublock and a password manager is all I need.

You don't need more.

Attached: 1532495696995.png (779x168, 14K)

>use a less reliable fingerprinter and just dont think about the other one shattering your false beliefs

what's the difference between privacybadger and possum?

what are the benefits of Smart HTTPS over HTTPS Everywhere?

>Also, why does it matter which variant of the browser is identified if you can verify it's not actually the one running on your machine?

this is what im saying, unless youre spoofing for content viewing reasons, there is no reason to spoof, something will still show you as unique.

>password manager extension
big yikes

cooler animal

cooler logo

theres absolutely nothing wrong with password managers, all real Jow Forums folk use one or another.

>cooler animal
based

Yikes alright. I would not use a computer if I had to remember my 300 secure account passwords in my tiny brain.

same. physical gpg key + udev rules.

i say udev rules because you can use your key both for sudoing and decrypting pws from manager

I wouldn't trust anything that has access to my passwords. Hell, I barely like windows having access to my info. Last thing I need is there to be a convenient data leak that I don't get told about until months later. It's the same reason why I stopped using piriform products due to the CCleaner malware fiasco.

see
there is nothing wrong with pw managers, they make life easier, but you cant throw common sense out the window when choosing one though.

>theres absolutely nothing wrong with password managers, all real Jow Forums folk use one or another.
Nobody is objecting to password managers you colossal autist.

>CCleaner malware fiasco
aaaaaand lately the un-stopable data collection that it phones home

And that's cool. It's up to you where you see the biggest danger.

I fear my own shitty brain more than a password manager I somewhat trust.

>No Jow Forums x

well i kind of got that impression, doltman

i used 4chanx for 2 days before i realized it does nothing extra that i need, and it just bloats the shit out of page loads.

See? That freaks me the hell out. I'm just waiting for that update that enables mandatory data collection on speccy, if it hasn't already happened.

>How do I do that?
in firefox you just right click and then click 'take screenshot', pale moon might not have it.
>I used Stylish to restore the old style
stylus should work. and since pale moon is a firefox fork, i'm sure userchrome.css and usercontent.css would work as well.

>Hell, I barely like windows having access to my info

why arent you using linux then? you clearly care if you're posting on Jow Forums and in a thread like this.. come on shape up.

i don't recall who piriform sold out to, it was an anti-virus company but since then, it's a no-no, for me to use any of their shit. bleachbit ftw now.

>use a less reliable fingerprinter and just dont think about the other one shattering your false beliefs
How is Panopticlick by the EFF less reliable than whatever you're testing through? It's not just that, you can see full details of the data that has been gathered. In your screenshots it's just "a variant of".

AVAST

Has no more than 10k in his account and lives in his parents basement, but believes someone would bother hacking him. Retarded pleb.

What's the best user agent switcher for chrome?

in dont know if it is.. but i dont know why youre saying to use a different tester when i already know the extensions dont work with one tester?

>if you have nothing to hide why do you care

it gets tiresome knowing people like you exist.. just out there... buttfucking our rights.. smiling and drooling and screeching.. using oxygen and potable water to stay alive

Question: is it better to use Jow Forums-x as a script or as an extension?

did you not read the thread stating there is no reason to use one at all? other than to slow down your browser with yet more shit code to inject?

4chanx dev shilling hard as fuck today. no one uses that shit

What?

nvm dude, no time for this

what's the benefit of using violentmonkey over greasemonkey?

>uBlock Origin
>Vim Vixen
>Wappalyzer

They sold out to Avast, IE the antivirus I currently use. Been looking for alternatives ever since, and I've contemplated just paying for malwarebytes premium.

Maybe his PC cannot play VP9 at high resolutions. Or maybe he wants to waste bandwidth and energy.

as of now, probably not much. i've used greasemonkey for years, but when firefox switched to webextensions, greasemonkey wasn't ready. violentmonkey was.
all i can think of right now is this bug
github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues/2574
which causes problems if you're using the nojs captcha in Jow Forums x.

violentmonkey is smaller in size and requires less permissions if you care about that, greasemonkey probably has more features (at least it used to - i haven't tried the webextension).

unlike tampermonkey they're both open source, so use whatever you want.

nojs cap doesnt even work anymore

you sure about that?

>switch to web extensions
this is why I'm glad I use Cyberfox and nothing Quantum based

quite

I use it specifically for Jow Forums. Sometimes I post from different IP's. It would be suspicious if 5+ IP's all came from the same exact user agent string. No clue if mods can see your user agent or not, but it doesn't hurt to take that additional step.
