>blow out the dust
>leave in a dry place
>check for moisture in your computer
>maybe leave computer in a dry place too

I'm taking it apart to see thermal Paste is dry

make sure you fans are spinning up properly or you could install something like speedfan to manually turn the fan's speed up. If it's a new build make sure you have a big enough power supply.

I'll spell it out for ya.

ew, remove that gpu sweat, thats why your gpu dies.
clean it and put everything in place

>GAYmes
Found your problem.

now that you have cracked it's shell, you can lick out all the meat

Did you think for a second that your PSU might be the problem.

95% of the time it is in this situation.

>Razor gaymar keyboard
cringe

Why are you fucking around with the GPU when the PSU is the most likely culprit?

OP mentions playing games in his post.

If you have another VGA port on your PSU, I would try that. It's very unlikely that anything internal is fucking it up ONLY during load. What is your PSU rated for?

What's the wattage of your power supply?
The 980 Ti is a hungry card and needs at least 600 watts of power, this is especially true of your card since it's, presumably, a factory OC card.
t. had a 980 Ti that would shit the bed because of a lack of power

Your power supply isn't enough.

I'm quite sure some shitty "80 gold" PSU fucked my 1060 6G 2 years ago, PC was literally doing NOTHING, lesson learned...forbid me when I'll spend less than 250$ on a PSU

Get a bigger power supply

Naw, nvidias just pop sometimes for no apparent reason when under no real load.

bait

Put it in the microwave for 10 minutes to disperse electrons stuck in the circuits, this should fix your card.

right on! XD

epic win! XD

The solution is to
* stop playing video games
* uninstall Wintendo toddler toy OS
* install GNU
Go forth and enjoy life anew.

Most likely it needed a bake since the solders gone
My gigabyte 1080 needed it and I got it done under warranty

go eat something off your foot

eww those nails

>stop doing things you enjoy because I say so
No dad, go die in a hole.
