A filesystem that doesn't suck.
Call me when you get boot support for anything other than NTFS.
Or, the ability to install on whatever hardware you want.
call me when microsoft allows me to remove windows explorer and internet explorer
Themes are only half the reason I use Linux. The other half is security, stability, and having the core of the OS work exactly how I want it to. The graphical shell in the form of a window manager and other programs isn't as important to me as the tools underneath.
You wanna know why I use Linux?
>native bash and mksh (not a shitty translation layer)
>doesn't spy on everything I do
>doesn't forcibly restart for updates
>doesn't blue screen
>all of my drivers work out of the box
>has XFS support, fast as fuck on solid state drives
>no registry horse shit
>doesn't rot away on the disk with normal use
I haven't used Windows since 98SE because it's just a garbage OS. I've been much happier with the features and stability of Linux and Unix.

if I remember correctly this method isn't permanent
try running cmd and run this command taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
a better method is to overwrite shell32.dll, ExplorerFrame.dll, etc which requires you to disable ownership bullshit
Unironically, what are some good Windows shells?
All the blackbox ones seem to be either old as shit or some script kiddie's interpretation of what a window manager should look like.
Any others that look nice and aren't shit?
Some?
There's only one.
console.sourceforge.net
It doesn't have an installation program, so use this version:

>incomplete linux distro
It has been years since I came across hardware that wasn't fully supported out of the box by Linux.
