something that is not usually advertised by them (i don't know why) is that its an incredibly low-resources hog. The requirements are around 32mb to run the whole thing without issue.
If 9front ever gets a full working RPi3 aarch64 port I'd recommend it there.

How does Harvy OS run on RISC-V? Did they fork the Plan 9 C compilers for that architecture?

plan 9 is dope but i don't think i could ever use it as a daily driver. unless you could run linux applications in it or at the least get rio to emulate x and then run linux headless in a VM.
i have been thinking about setting it up on an older thinkpad or something though.

plan 9 is a wonderful, well thought-, well laid-out operating system. in alternate realities i am certain it is used exclusively.
however, the current maintainers have all but sworn to never implement a javascript-compatible web browser for their own reasons (which i am fine with)
i doubt you will find many supporters here, where javascript is required to post!
