What e-mail client do you use? I used Thunderbird in the past, is there anything better?

I just installed Geary on my fresh ubuntu install and i just love it so far
Buggy gnome vala cancer with no features
tbird looks like the only option, maybe also kmail if I was on kde
what features you need in your email client that arent in Geary? not shilling just honestly interested
mutt & webmail all mail clients are shit
>What e-mail client do you use?
Sylpheed as I wanted a lightweight mail client.
I use eM client and it's pretty unremarkable, though rarely use emails.
Does anyone use ProtonMail?
I can't believe it's been over a month and Ubuntu still hasn't updated the repo to Thunderbird 60 yet. It's still on 52. :(
Filters, enigmail, local mail file import, calendar, proper search, etc.
I don't think that trash client has any of those. The fucking settings panel has a total of 10 options iirc (last used about a year ago).
I'm not saying tbird is amazing, in fact I don't like how slow it is, but there's nothing better that I'm aware of.
i will check it, tried that like years ago and i really thought its way too big and clumsy for what i need
This.
Hate it thought, always corrupting my emails and shit.
Thunderbird is the dopest client even though it's ugly as fuck
The last time i checked it couldn't export RSS feeds.

Mailspring is fine.
Install the conversation view plugin. It makes the interface much cleaner
>outlook because I have a real job
>Monolithic archive file gets to 10gb
>it takes ages to load in my shit company-issued all in one.
>it gets corrupted and i just lost mails from all the fucking year
Thunderbird 60 won't be made available through repos, it says right there on their page
Don't understand why,
Things email clients need.
- delayed send
- really that is the only fucking thing they really need
Checking the issues it looks like someone updated it for v60 but has yet to receive a pull. Can still install theirs.
I used this for years but have recently done a fresh Debian build and am now using Evolution.
I don't know which one I prefer desu

Outlook/Hotmail for personal shit because I set it up in high school and I'm too lazy to change.
Thunderbird for work because I don't want to add my work email to my Outlook client.
Gmail app on my phone.
Fastmail app on my phone.
Protonmail app on my phone.
I just deleted the outlook app from my phone because it's pure shit.
Roundcube Webmail on desktop always does what I need since my email needs are quite light and on mobile gmail app

easymail for gmail on my windows 10 laptop
>all this botnet bloat in one phone
user... I...
K-9 mail is a thing you know
Can you tell me whats the difference
Are they all foss?
I'd love something simple, fast and lightweight like k-9 mail on my phone
I had tried thunderbird and it was fine but felt bloated
I tried win10 mail once out of curiousity and it was really nice, unfortunately botnet
Something like that would be nice
Kmail does that
If you want a gui: Sylpheed or Claws.
Otherwise, mutt.
They are all foss and lightweight.

I just used to login to live in the ie browser.. believe it or not it was quicker
I am looking for a reliable email client that has annotations (so no Kmail). Got a suggestion?
Thunderbird. Or the default email client if I'm using win10.
