if you're poor and craving gaymen just get yourself a USB controller with a sweet-ass D-pad and get into the emulation scene, there's shitloads of great games out there for free once you're willing to look past the stylized oldschool sprites and sometimes clunky mechanics.

literally every computer made in the last 20 years can run 16-bit games without breaking a sweat, and practically everything made in the last decade can do another generation or more (depending)

Pic related, was the awful heatsink from the laptop. CPU constantly throttled 40%. Screen and keyboard are both busted so I took it apart and will throw it in a cardboard box as a PC for a family member.

im DLing EQ right now, i like to log into my ancient ass character from time to time. but p99 is the better experience.

I know an autistic person who plays fortnite at 1-30 FPS (30 when there's no one around him and drops below 10 when players are nearby).
From 1000+ games he killed someone 18 times.

Not really in either to be honest. P99 I played for a bit with friends until everyone stopped and subsequently I did too. Current EQ I haven't logged into in ages.
