He fell for the deskmate meme.
Why is the ubuntu font non-free?
Debian doesn’t consider the Ubuntu font license to be free

fun
Give me a rundown of fluxbox and icewm.
I too worry about non-free software that might happen to be installed on my Mircosoft Windows™ thank god for vrms
and fsf doesn't consider debian to be free. kek
Freetards can't get their shit together. Constant infighting and disagreements over whether who's mom is bigger.

Nice bg.
I'm really into pixel art, would anyone know of a theme or desktop that uses pixel art? The closest I think there is, is just i3 + polybar because of it's simplicity and option to use pixelated bitmap fonts but that's not pixelated, it's flat and minimal
Leave this thread and kys.
Using less bits of color might be a step on the right direction.
Anyone have any nice dotfiles? No point in ricing my desktop from scratch when I just want it to look like other peoples. Preferably for polybar and i3
check dotshare.it
Thanks!
What's up with all the tiling trash and unreadable fonts and color schemes. Hacking around at your window manager configs can be a fun hobbyist project but your end goal should be to create something that's usable. I wouldn't use half the window managers and configs in this thread if you guys paid me. They all look extremely uncomfortable and difficult to use.
It would be better without the menu icon. What is this green dot? It kinda breaks it too.
good post

Not sure why my tint2 is glitching. Doesn't happen on my Arch install nor my Debian install.

ayee I want to use XFCE but no dynamic workplaces has put me down
only decent one desu
Mad because I posted something other than my fellow autistic X/T series ThinkPads running Debian/Arch/Void with a tiling WM or OpenBox? I have those too. Minus the anime shit because that's a little tooooo autistic for me.
> anime shit is too autistic
spend a good few minutes staring at your wallpaper.
It has pretty much all the features you need for dynamic workspaces but they come disabled by default. To use them just go to the WM settings and set key bindings.
Dat A$$ NIBBA

I've been wondering, are you modifying the source code to add those girls to your programs like in the file browser? Or is there some other method you're using?
he's just being ironic by purposefully making everything on his computer ugly as shit

thats an ultra secret ricing technique imo
are you a virgin
hewwo
its not ironic nor ugly fyi
but actually uglyness is an interesting aesthetic that should be explored unironically
also a desktop where the wallpaper is posterized into your terminal colours to make fun of those redditors and r(targds that use generated colour schemes
somehow this is worse than anime wallpapers
clearly a lot of work went into it which is cool and I respect that, but it is certainly intentionally ugly and only made for iconic value
>r(targds that use generated colour schemes
I don't see the problem in doing this. I'm tired of setting appropriate colors manually, it's a waste of time; ~80% of the time a generated colorscheme will suffice with minor alterations.
And this is coming from a guy that used to to set his colors with careful consideration.
If you do any work in a terminal then all of the colors will blend together and make everything hard to discern. Doesn't matter much if you use something like nano which doesn't have code highlighting by default
>If you do any work in a terminal then all of the colors will blend together and make everything hard to discern.
This falls in the 20%.
1. they're usually monochrome trash
2. half the colors usually suck
3. making your own takes like 5 minutes and its one of the most important things
4. having the exact same colors as your wallpaper is boring as shit and also looks ugly
Well I guess I might be part of that 20%
I just make the background match an important color in my wallpaper and then have the rest of the colors stay normal except changing their brightness and saturation to fit the color of the background.
