yes, it is a form of censorship, that's true

but as someone who values free speech and does run a few small websites where users can post I can tell you this much: if some user nags about some other users post then you can just ignore it and the guy asking for censorship will simply leave. but in the rare cases that someone puts up something highly illegal you have to censor, you can't ignore it and risk someone walks away with your servers and puts them in a evidence locker for years.

there's a difference between corporate censorship and government censorship in a lot of countries, both are censorship but these days government censorship is a lot less restrictive than corporate censorship.
