I've shitting on KDE for easily 15 years
the other day, I was tired of win10 in my gaming rig, so I went ahead and did a quick tour of distros to go full blown Gabenloonix
to my surprise, I ended up favoring KDE neon
the best experience out of the box by far (in terms of desktop)
and the feature that got me into it is that it scales in fractions... the current gnome shell only does 2x (and the hacks available are horrible)
long story short, I ended up putting Kubuntu + neon backports in my gaming rig, and KDE neon in my workstation
i am fucking stocked
the other thing that I find quite handy for my workflow is the android app
the clipboard functionality between devices is freaking handy
my autism customization necessities are covered
and it is still a fucking desktop
