Hey guys it's Timothy

Been a while since I posted my rig so I decided it was about time, added some more pop figures over the last year or so. I think it looks pretty dope.

Spent about 1700 all together over the years built it when I was 14. My baby stood strong handled 2 480s for years without melting. Upgraded to Gtx 1070 and performs great.
The machine pays itself off will all the content I "acquired" with terabytes of movies, games, and porn

>Every post contains an image of a machine with a bulbous, tacky, graphics card.

Gaymers pls go

what card do you recommend then? integrated graphics?
lmao

Why would you need anything with greatest capabilities than integrated graphics? Rendering, sure. Nobody here has any actual work to do, though. This board has turned into a subsidiary of /v/

>criticizes everyone in the thread for having a graphics card only for gaming
>then says "I-I mean yeah there's real work to be done with graphics cards but nobody here does it!"
hmmm

Are you honestly implying that the people posting in this thread with their Mountain Dew cooled gaymen rigs use their glorified game consoles for anything other than vidja? Seriously, kys.

>non-chad cooling

Attached: DSC_0696[1].jpg (2000x1600, 1.09M)

yep, that's what I'm implying. and you're a retard for thinking "people who do REEL work don't have grafix cardz!!!"

>hail yourself
Actually kill yourself you complete waste of space
not only do you put toys in your case but you are literally too retarded to not have a fire hazard of cables near you dust your case too. This is by far the most reddit build I've seen here in a long time

8700k etc.. other bullshit. It works.

oh is timothy posting making a comeback

i remember back in 2007 showing off my c2d in an OEM case with OEM PSU without sleeved cables and all i had added was more ram, more hard drives and some ATi GPU. I got like 12 replies from people liking my cable management.

for sake of nostalgia does anyone have any guts pictures of old or OEM computers they own?

you realise the pallas cooler that's only 65mm tall cools better than that tower cooler and would fit in that case.

what cooler is that? Reminds me of the Dark Rock TF.

Classic poorfag cope

major cope
you can acquire those via some $100 old shit pc.

>not mining crypto overnight
Found the brainlet

Noctua NH-C14S

does black powder coated heatsinks like that perform worse than the raw or nickel plated ones?

This one isn't coated.

Attached: noctua_nh_c14s_2.jpg (743x600, 31K)

I thought crypto mining was useless after 2017?

Fuck, I should've gone with mATX. It looks so comfy

Think harder

I have that exact cooler

I think some anodization/coating methods might improve coating. The black version of Alpine Passive cooler can take more heat than the plain alu one.

The black color can help a tiny bit and if it changes surface structure, it could affect the heat exchange and airflow through the fins perhaps.

improve cooling I mean

First time posting in ere. I once attempted cable management

Why should i care? I'm not a gaymor fag with a window who displays his case.

Cable management?

Pulled my tempered glass side panel off for this.

I regret buying this poorfag m-ATX mobo, my cooler doesn't even fit on a vertical position.
It sucks living in a third world country.

How did you ended up here?

Just kinda saw it and decided to post my rig.

Your CPU fan is making an epic vacuum with the rear exaust fan, m8

Nice, almost no sag on that GPU. Nice cable routing.

Is your HDD doing some sick flips down there?

Damn bicch you live like this? Invest in some coffee filters

Pretentious, albeit cool looking.

Hey your SSD is drunk. Best vertical case tho.

Seems like too many fans.

Simple and cute. Spaghetti bottom, but looks like it can handle stuff just fine.

Is the bottom fan really helping? Wouldn't it be better off on the other side of the CPU heatsink?

Looks functional. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't have to.

Dude your AIO is caked with dust and stuff. Please invest in an air compressor.

Are you into BDSM? These drives look tight.

Thicc PSU. Pleasing colors.

Is this a NAS?

Is your cooler conflicting with your RAM choices? Seems quite alright in that position.

Bonus points for usage filth you say?
The left fan is pointed downwards because the graphics card fan has low rotation.

Optiplex 7020
i7 4790
8gb DDR3 1600
Zotac GTX 1050ti
250gb 960 evo
500gb HDD

Bought the 1050ti when it was down to $160. Really happy with it.

Can't adjust fan speed in MSI afterburner?

Comfy. Is the GPU getting hot? Looks like it does not have a lot of space to vent air out.

I need to up my RGB game.

Attached: 43432432.jpg (2048x1536, 801K)

Nah mate, that's just the PSU shroud. Thanks though.

minimal wasted space well done lads

ssuck and ffuck

Attached: angles.png (1971x1314, 2.39M)

how is the AIO cooler , i heard they ususally only last around 5 years .

Had to get a new PSU because old one didn’t like having to power a 1080 ti. I guess it looks better with a modular PSU.
GPU has a little sag I don’t like

Attached: image.jpg (1920x1920, 2.74M)

It still works, I replaced it when I upgraded. It's in a nas now though

Attached: fuck me.jpg (2016x1512, 776K)

i was wondering if i should put LEDs on mine since they are cheap but holy shit they are gay

it will probably just make any imperfections and dust more apparent and stain my acrylic window in glare

>cools better
>can't even beat a Cooler Master 212
Get the fuck out of my face

Attached: chart2-1.png (600x600, 255K)

Same old, same old.
Eventually it'll hurt enough to warrant an upgrade.

Attached: HunkofJunkMKVI.jpg (2403x960, 404K)

Thinking of upgrading to a 1080ti. Maybe SC2 or Strix.

It does absolutely nothing youtube.com/watch?v=SyCr4AQw3rw&t=0s

How do you mount top mount modern PSUs? I was given a free case with a top mount and can't really tell.

Usually they just screw into the PSU bracket and rest on a little shelf for support.

It's the right number of fans, I tested them one by one.

I read for temps we use its like 1-2deg with black coating (but it has to be carbon based paint so some might do nothing) radiators in cars are painted with same paint and for them helps like 10deg but obviously the scale of that heat is greater.

full copper improve temp by 5deg black paint improve by 2deg basically.

depends on paint uses I think noctua is using shit non carbon based paint because the black ones are their budget line. proper carbon paint helps they paint car radiators for a reason but yes maybe such small difference with our temps hard to notice it. like 0.5deg

This is terrible. 9/10

Neat. I've been wanting a white PSU for a while to match the rest of my stuff.

I like the colour scheme. Makes me thing of Blade Runner for some reason.

oh man, good memories.
