got like 300 hours of overtime in the past 2 months. finally got a day off and my HDVD 800 came in the mail. I dont know what else to spend my money on now

Is chinkpill the biggest revelation in hifi? There’s no more reason to buy expensive western brands anymore, as they too make their products in China, but charge shitton for their name and brand. But chifi? Always good value.

All hifi is made in China anyway.

So my meme audio technica m40x broke today after 3 years. I don't even know wtf happen I just took them off like normal and latch just exploded, it's a common thing apparently. Anyway I am looking for new headphones

Audezes are made in USA, Focal is made in France, expensive AKG headphones are made in Slovakia, so it’s not completely true.

They import the parts from China and just assemble locally.

Are HD6X0 not made in Ireland anymore?

High end Audio Technica and Fostex is made in Japan.

What is the point of closed back headphones, is it just privacy? I bought a pair and used them for about 5 months and then putting on my open back just felt so good

Any bad things about the Shure SRH1540?
I'll probably get some for office and some travelling. How are they doing without an amp?

My Sennheiser hd-598 have a slighty unbalanced sound to the right and i dont know if is because a malfunctioning on the right drivers or low sound on the left ones. Any one knows what can i do?

Buy better headphones.

Beyer stuff is made in Germany too.

Yes
I tried with another aux and in different sources and the problem still

I'm sure you'll think of something.

Do you smoke? Your stuff looks filthy.

Currently using RHA S500 for past 3 years, previously had VSonic GR06 which were amazing but broke after 9 months, Brainwavz M1 were OK but had poor isolation.

Any player that supports Rockbox?

What are the best ones under $50?

Eh, I wouldn't know. I'm still rocking my old Sansa Clip+ but it isn't manyfactured anymore. Bought it when it cost 20 bucks, now you would have to pay 100+ to get one.

porta pros, tascams that broke after a few months, monoprice that broke after years

Less than every 2 years I end up needing to buy a new pair because the previous ones are slowly killed by use.
$100 is the absolute top of the price range, must be very durable and very comfortable, detachable cord. Probably open because the porta pro's are.

you're hardly going to find anything exciting unless you raise the price ceiling

Are the Sony WH-1000XM2s good?

Attached: sony-wh-1000xm2-4.jpg (2976x1984, 231K)

I'm not an audiofag I just need new headphones that won't fall apart for at least 2 years.

>won't fall apart for at least 2 years.
I'd go witht MDR V6 for that + Brainwavz leather pads.

Better bass. Mor intimate. Better isolation.

Vi ambos a venda no HT Fórum.

Are there any comfortable earbuds that aren't super cheap or iphone knock offs? I can't use in ear style, just earbuds.

pic related is what I've been using, Sennheiser MX 365. They are ok, but a little too big for my ears so they aren't comfortable for very long.

No real budget in mind, maybe $30 to $150. In USA.

Korean headphones y/n?
Going to Korea soon, looking what i can buy there. VGU looks like too overpriced in Korea(300 dollars for rx580), yet some brands for headphones(ABKO HACKER/ MAXTILL TRON) are fucking cheap. How good they are?

Where's Idol trash?

So I just bought Jabra elites for the gym and commuting. Rather impressed by these.

Tin Audio T2, but the bass for me wasn't as good as I thought it would be but decent

Main genre is Electronic, EDM, Rock, and Accoustic

Did you try covering the vent on the front of the T2? Not the back one, but the one on the front can bump the bass a fair amount

No, but can't do too much about it now because I misplaced them when I went to see a cousin and couldn't find them. That's why I'm asking for a new pair

Gotcha. If you don't mind >notreble then you might like the soundmagic E10. The sub bass is pretty good on those.

Opinions on the Shure SE-215s? Need some $100 iems and am looking for a balanced signature.

I'm currently looking at IEMs and found two that look interesting. They are the Sennheiser momentums and Klipsch R6. Which one is better?

Also factor in that I think the clear looks really cool.

4 pin XLR balanced cable for your hd800

I paid $60 or so for the 8gb version when I was on the meme train a couple of years ago.. Also picked up a silicone case. Going strong.. a++

Anyone?

Attached: Kannon_Up-1.png (1103x1134, 237K)

HD598

I have them, and I love them. A lot better than my CX1.00s that I kept losing and replacing, this time I have an actual case and other accessories to keep care of 'em (the SE215s)

The only issue is the cord, for me - it has that thing where if it rubs against anything, the noise travels into the ear... probably easily solvable but I haven't figured out how.

Microphonics? You might be able to rectify that with a different cable.

I did buy a secondary cable for them the same time I made the purchase, but the right ear connector for the secondary cable wasn't working and I didn't want to force it.
I guess I could try buying another

If you can't afford $5 a month you shouldn't be looking to spend $400 on a set of headphones.

When I'm reallt laying attention and enjoying the music is when I'm at home, chilling in ved or at my pc. But I will also be using them at work ( I work at Domino's ) where I won't be focusing on the music as much, so some noise is ok. If it really bothers me then I'll try and find a solution.

Sorry for this butchered post. I'm actually at work right now lol.

Is there a lot of moving around quickly at Dominos?
If so, I'd recommend grabbing something Bluetooth for work. From experience: having a cord tangle around everything you're working with is just a disaster waiting to happen... plus, those SE215s are what I'd call too expensive to be disposable.
Just have two sets, one for hanging out with friends/chilling at home/whatever, and another (bluetooth) for work/workout/etc

That sounds like a good idea. And yeah, it's a high-octane as duck environment especially when it's busy. Co-workers are cool as fuck though.

So I've heard-- kitchens have some of the best work environments, my friends have told me. But yeah. I'm not too sure which bluetooth earbuds are the "best" nowadays (I'd recommend, well, not buying one that's overly expensive, but that just makes sense for your case), but I've seen a ton of them on the market regardless. Should be easy to grab a cheap pair and run with them. Just make sure you read the reviews first or you may end up with some shit ass ones that drop connection constantly

If you find them used the headband is already loosened up so they are comfy

What are the best tips for the T2 meme? Any good triple flanges?

foam is best, spinfits also work quite well, haven't tried triple flanges

JVC Spiral Dots and Spin Fits are my go-to tips, depending on whether I want wide bore / shallow fit (Spiral Dots) or narrow bore / deeper fit (Spin Fits).

I'm an earbud fan too. I would look into Venture Electronics. You can buy them on AliExpress. They range from $5 to $150+. I have the VE Monk Plus ($5) and they sound quite good (it's what they're most known for).
