I never really got why anybody uses pastebin for literally anything.
ANYTHING you'd use pastebin for, there's a better alternative for free. git, online file storage, hastebin... ALL better than pastebin.

Yeah, but there's a ton of other sites that are way better for that. Hastebin is my favorite when it works. There's paste.ee, p.ip.fi, ghostbin and a plethora of others for quick sharing of code. I can't think of a single feature or aspect of its use that makes Pastebin the best tool for any particular need.

The one good thing about Pastebin is that it allows editing of pastes, without having to change the URL. Useful for scripts.
I'm not aware that any other has that feature, although most wouldn't need it.
