That's not an S5 mini

Sliders were better.
The Blackberry Classic and Passport were better.
What people really want is a pocket UMPC, they just don't realize it. No one really likes limited touch screen input.

No

>curved
Hell no.

Attached: Sony-Ericsson-Xperia-X1.jpg (1024x768, 88K)

S8 looks better.

I'd say the S8 is an improvement from that.
Too bad that every phone nowadays is NOTCHED aids, which has made Samsung the best phone manufacturer at the moment.

>Early AMOLED display that burnt better than a baby soaked in gasoline
>Chrome paintjob that chipped away if you breathed on it
>Overheats
>Shit battery life
your are rarted

No, the curve is obnoxious and useless. It just gives you a load of nasty glare and barely useful screen for some aesthetic improvement

Still rocking it, although I have a badly smashed screen

That's supposed to be an LG, right?
Too bad they fucked up everything since the G4

>Front branding
>Physical button
>Large top/bottom bezels
>Curved screen meme
Congratulations on finding the worst designed smartphone.

lose the edge and yes.
kinda miss the s7, the s9 is great and all, but i liked the flat and the button in front.

this and pic related

Attached: 41949.jpg (678x450, 70K)

If they took blackberry priv design and fit it in a sony xz1compact form factor I'd buy it and every iteration of it to the end of time

Lg Nexus 5. Yeah G5 is shit

Too small, no regrets giving my S7 to my wife

I have one.
>Front branding
Meh.
>Physical button
Why is this not a plus? It doubles as a fingerprint sensor so you can wake and unlock your phone with a single press.
>Large top/bottom bezels
Slight minus.
>Curved screen meme
This is part of why I bought it. Models without the curved screen were either just enough wider to make them unwieldy, or had a smaller screen. It let me have a larger screen while still having a comfortably small device. Also unlike the S8/9, the curve is just at the very edge.

>distorted image edges because of meme rounded glass
KEK. Behold the peak of smartphone design.

Attached: Nokia_N950.jpg (300x264, 16K)

looks neat but was overall a retarded design.

wrong.

Attached: 91lsz9ZdF7L._SL1500_.jpg (1500x1156, 278K)

It doesn't actually distort. It's like they projected the pixels onto the panel, not wrapped them around the edge. So, you have slightly less pixel density on the edge so that it's the same density when viewed from head on.

*crack*
*sip*
Maemo. Now that was a nice mobile OS.

The N950s keyboard was better and the slider smoother. I'll fight you on that.

Meanwhile, zoomers can only choose between slavery (Apple) and botnet (Google). Maemo was the promise of freedom, but Jow Forums chose their own chains

No, the note 5 was. I'm using one right now and it's perfect. I'd have to test the newer ones in the store but I'm fairly confident that I'll be getting a new Galaxy Note whatever next year. The curved edge thing and rounded display on newer models makes me want to vomit though.

Attached: Galaxynote-5-Dual--sim.jpg (550x511, 21K)

The Samsung GS3 was so perfect. The only thing keeping me from not using is that the one I own only has 1 GB of RAM (and of course it's not fast enough by today's standards)

Attached: S3.jpg (767x767, 78K)

no, s6 non edge was. perfect size, perfect weight. this note 9 is a little too big

Undisputable.

Attached: 5s.jpg (1310x1910, 255K)

tru

>only has 1 GB of RAM
nokia 1 has this and does fine, try installing some vanilla android over the old samjizz? you probably lose the "phone" part of the phone but regain a pocket sized tablet for web browsan

>perfect phone
>non removable battery
>no SD card slot

Attached: 1510455536390.png (558x614, 24K)

I still use a galaxy S3 with lineageos for my daily. Best phone.

Attached: Torch.jpg (600x518, 58K)

Wait, doesn't the Note 5 have both of these? The S5 certainly does.

Attached: images.jpg (384x384, 16K)

>Similarly to the S6, Samsung was criticized for making the Galaxy Note 5's battery non-removable, and removing the ability to expand its storage via microSD.

Attached: 1506891738422.jpg (1000x1083, 117K)

that's a 5 and not a 5s, dumbass iBaby

only 1 usb port
dont have sylus
rejected

that's a OnePlus One

Edge series is junk. Have to buy an Active to get a quality device. I was still using my s5 active a year after my wife got the S7 edge, only had to get a new phone because my charging port got damaged.

Nexus 5 truly was the best phone ever made . Even when my first one got smashed I still bought a new one .

>edge
BOY I SURE LIKE NOT BEING ABLE TO HOLD MY PHONE AT ALL BECAUSE THE FUCKING SIDES ACCEPT INPUT

Why would you need two USB ports?

I always felt like the Mi Mix should have done this. Surprised to see a phone that actually did the camera like that.

mi mix did it first

mi mix 2 did it better

It is the brand new Samsung note 9 available now

>rear view mirrors on the sides
>light will reflect off that and shine into your eyes
nope
its a terrible design

Enjoy the decade of the notch

Yall dun goofed

Attached: m8b8.jpg (358x411, 19K)

dat chin

I had a M7, and it was my favorite smartphone I've ever had. I was sad to give it up.

Hah, nope.

Attached: 511j7W1U5AL.jpg (500x375, 34K)

dumb n9poster

this basic shape is the peak. the phone will be covered by a skin at all times, so the material its made of only needs to be durable and protective, the bezels don't need to be that small, not so small that you accidentally tap the screen. the only improvement left is to put a fingerprint sensor under the glass. the glass should be stronger. the battery should be user replaceable

No, this was

Attached: 4775a6029010951146253d021c03e9da78327b5f_large (1).jpg (600x600, 40K)

Yes. I thought so when I got it, and still think so still using my s7 edge. Only thing it could benefit from is a better processor, everything else is perfect

Attached: 930.png (652x450, 244K)

Still keep mine around as backup. But the USB port won't work as a data connection so I can't put a stock android in it. The last Samsung update really did a number on the day to day performance.

>>>>ROUNDED SCREEN CORNERS

No.

Nexus 4 was the pinnacle considering the time frame for when it was released. Of course many better smartphones exist nowadays - it's been years - but in terms of visual aesthetics and cosmetic design, no other phone was so far ahead of its time.

Remember when HTC and Motorola were unironically tops?
Good times.

Attached: Nokia-9-Leak-Image.png (640x948, 695K)

Giving this phone up because of WP being stillborn was the saddest shit. Holding this phone felt like touching the wing of an airplane. Ran hot but i don’t care.

Would kill for this design back.

Attached: 78369.jpg (800x600, 36K)

These two were

Attached: HTC-ProductDetail-Hero-slide-04.png (537x478, 155K)

This is still my favorite design.

Attached: 20180813_191040.jpg (4032x3024, 3.54M)

Rounded screen corners are cute.

The design of the Mi Mix is far better than of the Mi Mix 2. Sharper corners, well-positioned camera, etc.

i use a piece of paper to tighten the usb port and sometimes it works, i've managed to get root and install some things through pc

Really loved the n4, was perfect visually.
Used it for 5 years until it finally gave up.
Performance was top due to the 2gb of ram. Only problem I had with it was the heat due to the overclocked snapdragon and the poor battery life.

The Note line is discontinued, user. The Note9 is the last.

Source?

Anything Jony Ive touches. He like the Pininfarina of smartphones.

this

Definitely. It looks far more futuristic than all the notch-shit we're stuck with today. Shame the design didn't catch on.

>all the curved-corner bezelless shit in this thread
Didn't know Jow Forums had such shit taste

No but the regular S7 is.
I hate Samsung for dropping the home button, that thing was really useful.

I wish they'd made the slider harder to slide.

Sorry not you, meant the user who said note line is discontinued.

gsmarena.com/samsung_is_planning_to_merge_the_galaxy_s_line_with_the_note_one-news-32332.php

i still dont know what this webm is even trying to show

This is the best smartphone ever the note 4

Attached: samsung-galaxy-note-4.jpg (313x506, 58K)

Showing how the sliding mechanism works

Source you faggot?

It would be great if it had usable sensor keys instead of dumb chin

KYS Crapple shit looks always like hot smelly garbage but i guess the poo people like that about them.

>Blocks you path
Nothing personal kid

Only downside is software keys

same, i miss u nexus
