That's a shitty way of putting it, but he has a point - the default dwm configuration isn't very good - its meant to be customized, which is why its so easy to customize and compile. It doesn't make a lot of sense to ship binaries.

I'm not a fan of suckless, but this is fine. There's nothing wrong with creating software for a small audience of like-minded people. It takes a lot of work to make software usable for a wider audience and hobbyist developers are not obliged to do it. You are not entitled to binary packages (or free support.)
