Which do you prefer, AMD or NVIDIA?

The red guy was the shit in castle crashers.
Also if the AMD and Nvidia offerings at a given price point are relatively similar in performance, I buy AMD because of Nvidia's shady business practices in the past (goyworks, hairworks, 3.5gb, etc.). If the nvidia card benchmarks better for the same price though, I'll get the better product.

none, i have used both over the years and had good experiences, never had any problems
>8600 gt
>HD 6850
>R9 380x
i will probably get a 1080 ti or 2080 for the 1440p 144hz monitor

I like:
Nvidia's goyshit performance, and features, but AMD's prices, and lack of feature segmentation.
Woe is me when this is the world that we live in.

this and also no login/google driver update software with amd

Forgot to mention freesync. Gsync is some serious jewery, especially when nvidia cards could support freesync if they wanted them to.

AMD
Nvidia is a bunch of turbo jews fucking people over at every opportunity.

AMD
-cheaper
-freesync
-driver support for linux
-overall no jewish tricks under my machine

I don't login to anything for a driver update though.

damn I miss playing castle crashers with my online friends

Why the fuck doesn't the GTX series support 10bit color opencl. That's some next level buttfuckery.

SGI

I should be able to click the update button for a new driver, notified when released, and I shouldn't have to log in to do so.

I've always bought nvidia for less hassles with linux / X. I'll buy whichever is less aggravating with my other hardware and software. That's been nvidia for a long time. Haven't bothered to make speculative purchases to see if the situation is any better now.

Nvidia, because amd cards get hot as fuck power hungry and even fried pcie slots

Didn't mean to link to your post

AMD because I'm a poorfag.

>He doesen't know about 1.5gb, burned gpus and buyed reviewers
Kys brainlet normie sheep
You only think so, because someone told you something but you didn't do your research

amd > intel > nvidia
because I value price/performance and ethical business practices

AMD because I’ve had

- GeForce 1
- GeForce 2
- GeForce 240m
- GeForce 340m
- GeForce 460m

Die on me, fuck nvidia they are incapable of making hardware that doesn’t die. All my AMD cards still work.

I'm on team blue!
Can't wait for intel to release their dedicated GPUs!
This gonna be great!
All blue! No more this green and red garbage!

She must be doing Kegel exercises

Do you think that an intel dedicated gpu could compete though?

at this moment amd's linux drivers are better than nvidia's, though

I prefer Nvidia's cards for a couple of dumb reasons, but I think they are a cancer on this earth as a company

let me guess
except for when it comes to opengl?

I was talking about kernel compatibility, stability and ease of setup.
Nvidia is pretty anal about following the OpenGL spec.
