Zebra F cartridges totally went to shit when they moved the factory to Indonesia. BIC and Schneider are way better.

I'll approve cheap Chinese thermally eraseable pens.

They may not be something you want to use to write down your will and memoirs with, but they're really practical for things like shopping and check lists.

Yea, ballpoint pens can use superior ink that is immediately dry. Unlikely to accumulate paper fiber, either.

lmfao, the Zebra F-301 is like the MOST pleb-tier pen around. I used back that in middle school, and the only people who use it now are normies. Also they stopped making their pens in Japan and outsourced it to places like Indonesia and Mexico, and they are now absolute shit.

Uni jetstream for sure, best pen I've ever owned. Was a little shaky at first spending like $30 on a pen (I'd never bought a decent pen before, just pleb shit) but I've never been happier and I find it hard to write with other stuff now.

What felt pen should I buy that doesn't show through the paper? Normally a pencilfag so I prefer them to ballpoints.

What are you writing on? Is it just regular paper on clipboards, and you want something that won't have "outages" of ink, or are you marking stuff on a variety of surfaces like wood, paint, and bare metal?

I have a variety of them. I'm a student, mostly trying to use them for copying notes in class quick, and processing notes into something I can study from.

Depending on the kind of class, I usually use the pencil the most, since I can quickly erase it. This is handy if I mess up a sketch or graph I'm trying to copy. The 4 colours of sharpie pen were really useful for chemistry class notes and when I was trying to take latin and do translation work.

The ballpoint is for general quick work. I might use it instead of the pencil if I don't expect to write much that's important, and if I think it's going to be mostly text.

I got a couple of cheap bic fountain pens because I just wanted to try a fountain pen. It writes pretty smoothly, but my writing is a bit too sporadic to make the best use out of it. I get a bunch of words out, but then need to buffer for a bit. Or I think out a full segment of stuff, and then forget what I was trying to write when I get a few words into putting it down.

I'll probably try getting those new felt tip pens that don't bleed through the page whenever these sharpie multicolour things start to die off.

I actually had a middle-tier jinhao fountain pen, the feather got broken after several months of use. Now I have a broken fountain pen and a huge Parker's ink bottle I don't know what to do with.
