Reds mostly but I do like to occasionally use Browns.

Memebraine for me. What is the difference between all of these btw? Blue, green, red, or brown?

Loudness and feedback

cherry patent has been gone for years buying authentic is retarded the clones are literally better quality.

Reds. But I use clears.

outemu brown here, sometimes i wonder about going louder with blue but i'm ok with them

I used to use blues but I've moved on to greens. I know it's a huge shift in the opposite direction but I'm thinking about buying something with blacks or reds because I've never used either and I'm curious about them.

blue makes clicky noises
green is the same thing but with more spring resistance
red doesn't have any feedback, it just goes straight down
brown has a slight tactile feedback
browns, although I might try greens

Chiclets. Mechanicals are too noisy.

reds are the only option if you want to win at games. even in a game where keypress is important like mmo or moba red is best. roamer g just released a red style switch. I would recommend that unless you want to buy obscure chink keyboard from taobao.

Box White is objectively better than blue in every way.

>reds are the only option if you want to win at games
That's one way of admitting you're an idiot with little knowledge of keycaps. Silver is literally red with less actuation force.

I like my laptop keyboard

I'd love to try green someday.

>playing video games

Jow Forums is an 18+ website

Buckling spring. Too used to them, can't stand other switches. :X

>tfw friend dominates at Counter-Strike
>uses blues
feels bad, i can't stand blues, even for typing.

Do greens feel significantly heavier than blues or just slightly?

Got browns as of now but i'd probably like Reds more for the smoothness.

>be bad in a game
>blame it on the type of keyswitches you use
You can't make this shit up

membrane

To me the difference is definitely noticeable but they're not hugely different.

You mean shorter travel
Silver were also called speed by corsair

Which clone switches are the cheapest and closest to the Cherry originals?

mechanical keyboards are shit.
the travel distance is stupid long.
loud or no feedback.
membrane is unironically the best switch.
you faggots bought expensive trash.
you got memed by the jews

box navies

Browns are by far the best overall.

No, they also have less force.

Wrong.

Buckling spring.
It's comfortable and familiar.

For me speed even for typing.

Oetemu Browns, fite me faget

I've been liking the clears I have at work a lot lately, though I still use blues at home because it's what I had first. I think blues feel the best to me but I could never use them in an office.

I have browns too but I dislike them, the feedback is negligible and inconsistent to me. Clears offer better tactile feedback, they're quiet, and they're heavier to counter me always bottoming out with blues and browns.

>reds are the only option if you want to win at games
Do you know about the cherry reds travel scratchiness? If you put your ear really close to one, that is actually it saying
>git gud

Gateron Greens for a smol keyboard, I am a heavy typer. But for my deskopt I prefer buckling spring.

I was used to cheap rubber dome OEM keyboard, tried some cherry mx brown and disliked them so much I ended up buying a gray logo Model M. I've been happy ever since.
