Edge came out with Windows 10, but IE 11 is still on Windows 10 so they are separate browsers.

I've never used macos nor I'm aware of what the community thinks of safari, but it's probably widely used or apple doesn't care.

Safari is pretty good at stopping trackers and (soon) fingerprinting out of the box too.
