Eurofag needs help

Hi Jow Forums I'm a eurofag who is searching for alternatives to browse the web, you might not know but the EU authorized the Article 13 and that basically fucks the meme ecosistemas here, what I want is to know what can I do

Use tor

nice falseflag mutt

Aight, has anyone been fined yet?

I'm not saying there's no fuckery afoot, but I have yet to see one person being affected by it. It's not like people are even aware enough of this shit so they are most likely to accidentally break the "law".

Don't get me wrong. As an european I would have wished for the EU to just simply fucking disappear. I just see a lot more people that don't even live in the EU acting like we're all in prison now unable to speak because we don't even have money to pay our fines.

they're only concerned about the "merchant" memes
if you post normie memes is okay
anti-semitism is not okay

It's not in place yet, it's been aproved but there's going to be a second vote. I remember an user saying it's in January, but I can't find anything about it atm.
So either it's not in place yet or no websites is doing anything at the moment because it's been aproved 1 day ago

Anti-semitism is perfectly ok. Only apparently you have to be a shitskinned "refugee" to be allowed to do that.

vpn
goodbyedpi (if thats what your ISP uses to block sites)
not much else you ca do but riot and shout at your MPs

they are forcing ISPs to block sites and worst of all forcing all the big platfroms to comply with delete requests with no questions asked, everything will be swiftly deleted

yikes

The Internet has only gotten more annoying with each EU legislation like the cookie requests. I dread to think what this will result in.

OP is a dumbass if he believes in that

Hi guys!
>flag of europe
Eurofag here!
>hmm... what's that spanish word I learned in Muttland Heights High yesterday? oh, yeah. that should do it...
Ecosistemas guys!

literally why are you so autistic that you need to do this song and dance about a widely unsupported and criticized law?

this or meshnet like freifunk.net/

There's another vote in january 2019 and then who knows how long it will take to actually implement and start enforcing this shit, especially considering each member state of the EU will want to do it in their own terms

Willing to bet some countries will be like "as long as you don't meme socialism you're good"

>As an european
And yet you don't know how the legislative process of the EU works? Both the parliament and council have to agree in order for anything to pass. If there are any amendments (as is the case) to the law then it has to be voted on again (which it just was). Now the council will have its say and potentially submit amendments, which parliament then must agree with or it [the entire proposal] either gets vetoed or resubmitted a final time to try and fine some resolution both the parliament and council is happy with.

>And yet you don't know how the legislative process of the EU works?
99.99% of europeans don't know jack about that or anything that goes on in the european parliament. This article 13 thing has barely been talked about by mainstream media here.

>implying EU would not ban tor

>they are forcing ISPs to block sites and worst of all forcing all the big platfroms to comply with delete requests with no questions asked

holy shit theyre becoming worse than the Chinese. Fucking eurofags, why did you let this happen on your internet?

You actually think we can even stop it from happening.

see The vast majority of people are completely unaware of what's happening.

Oi, you got a loicense for that flag, m8?

based and redpilled

lil kek

Why should they?

>Implying that banning Tor is easy

we didnt 'let' anything. EU is antidemocratic, committees and councils are unelected.
for the parliament you can only vote for your MPs while bunch of foreigners will decide whats 'good' for your country and you have zero affect on it, its all a huge scam

Tor for browsing clear web. IPFS, freenet for decent alternatives.
Riot.im, Wire, Briar as communication apps
Diaspora as social media

>let it happen
Dude, nobody even talks about article 13. I only know of 1 other person that knows about it happening, we weren't even told about it anywhere. It's nowhere in the news, not even on most popular news websites. Less than 1% of public is aware of it's existence or of anything that EU (((politicians))) are doing. It's impossible to try to stop something when you have no idea it's happening. I wouldn't even know about this if it wasn't talked about on Jow Forums and /tech/.

So Europe severely hindered the rights of retards to shitpost? Sounds fine to me, especially since it's happening to the eurocucks.

>Hiro cannot afford to pay all the taxes and to include a mandatory content ID filter so he blocks all european IPs
Dark days ahead of us.

perhaps then I can start sorting my life out

Who are you kidding? Let's be honest.

Attached: 1422677336231.png (408x408, 9K)

no, what has happened is that they want websites that are in EU countries that receive loads of generated content to have Youtube style copyrightID system.
how big, to what extend do you have to create id system is unknown because laws are written by morons.

Use a proxy.

The EU is too large for this to not have an effect on the internet as a whole.

GEMA-style white list
if its not allowed - it's prohibited

use pic related

rent a US vps and make a tunnel from your computer to the vps

Shut up dumbfuck. You got jewed out of your internet, and you can't do shit about it. The whole time you were pointing the finger with muh mutt shotposting, they were owning you. Muhammad fucking your woman who don't want you anymore anyway and now you can't even legally post memes on the internet. Europe was a mistake

This. They have all kinds of formal and dirty tricks to get their stuff through and much of this is opaque to normal citizens. I remember when they tried to pass software patents through the fishery department (or what the name is); luckily the free software lobbyists were woke (but I think it was mostly luck that they caught it). The EU administration is a closed system that keeps its citizens out.

You're literary a retard, fuck off.

>laws are written by morons
No. By lobbyists. The current one has the signature of people that knew what they wanted.

Lobbyists and intelligence agencies. The former are more visible, but the latter have entire legal departments quietly working to legalise whatever illegal programs they've been running for years.

True. At least we shouldn't blather about "stupid politicians." Perhaps they are, perhaps they aren't but couldn't care any less because they know how it works. It's probably even part of the dirty tricks to rant about politicians and distract from the true sources.

You're freaking out currently about nothing.

tl;dr
>has been altered from last vote
>will not be enforced yet, still has to go through another vote in 2019
>will most likely change those worrisome articles
>article 11 in current form is the right for a source to opt in on paying for taking snippets of them, which will mean it'll lose viewers if aggregators have to pay for them, and thus not show them, so it'll be useless
>article 13 is the idea of a youtube like algorithm that screens content after upload, although it'll be flawed like current content id is
I'm not for these, but they aren't as bad as the americans want you to think they are.

What actually will happen is that big content providers like google get a free pass from the copyright holders (mostly big traditional EU publishing houses) while smaller websites will be sued to oblivion by the lawyer mafia.

Also OP is a retard.

post links to news articles on european deputys blogs comment sections and ask them to pay the tax until the legislation is aborted

>no more braindead and impoverished Eurotards on Jow Forums

First time I hear this, seems kinda interesting. I'll take a look at it.
