I decided to look in the Bay area tech industry for work after hearing about all the high salaries people earn, thinking that my skills would allow me to earn a high salary, but what I experienced was the complete opposite. I think part of this has to do with the perception that I'm somehow a greedy capitalist for wanting to make a fair living, as though all those tech CEOs are gods like Stalin that I should be working for for free. Surely one who can perform at '10x' should not actually be earning LESS than their peers, as I myself have witnessed first hand?
This and things like the overpriced commie-block style apartments, communal cafeterias, all the social justice crap makes me wonder why are these people operating in a capitalist country if love communism so much? Why don't these people go back to Russia or wherever it is they came from so the state kleptocrats can steal everything they earn?
Why don't they go back to where they come from? Because they are from this country and have been indoctrinated through academia. If they are immigrants, then the indoctrination is easily done because the white man knows best because his unis are "elite" in the world.
