Sitting on 2011. E5-2690 comfy af still.
I am, and I'm terrified
there's no windows patch for spectre and linux mitigation is only partial
I hope they come out witha spectre/meltdown proof processor soon
I wish my motherboard would die already so I sell my CPU to some stupid 3rd worlder. I just can't throw something that works out....
But it has to be the motherboard, else I could just buy a CPU for $20.
still using Xeon E5450
Had the same darn pc with four different gpu's
>4850(leftover from even older pc)
>6850
>7950
and now RX480
lga1155 here, i7 2600k going stronk
1366 Masterrace
same, dualies or die
LGA1150 i5 4460
Still works, though might upgrade later this year
Hello
X5670 on an X58 board here
I want to replace it with a Ryzen, but maybe later when RAM and SSD prices fall, its hardly urgent
im still using lga-775 e5450 clocked @ 4.0
Haswell i7 reporting in
Say Hi!
i5 2500k mustard race, upgrading isn't really worth it.
LGA 1155 here (3570k). Upgraded GPU last year and am only barely seeing bottlenecks on the games I play. I'll probably upgrade in 2020.
Why do people upgrade their Intel CPU every year, every two years, every three years, or even 4, 5, 6, 7.... ?
>It's the same damn excellent single thread performance as always.
ayy, i7 950 running since 10' here.
arm
run
>no integrated graphics
It's absolute hell but it works.

>a 99dolla CPU matches and DESTROYS everything you got, and a 120dolla CPU (i3 8100) would've destroyed you even more
UPGRADE NIGGERS
here. Don't worry I've got a 2700x build sitting in my cart, I'm just waiting for deals and/or for my system to finally kick the bucket.
Another thing I'm still looking into is Ryzen's sensitivity to memory, I've got the b-die/C14 stuff down but if you or anyone else knows, do I lose performance using 4 sticks vs 2? The MB I plan on getting is the Crosshair VII if that matters.
Still rocking that i7 860
i5-750
8 gigs of ddr2 800
160gb ssd
RX550
Disabled windows updates a few years back.
My computer runs as fast as the day I got it. Dont play games anymore just watch netlfix
>Ryzen
IS SHIT SAME LIKE INTEL iSHIT
