Which font is this? Whenever I render Chinese or Japanese fonts with terminus, they aren't properly optimized e.g. they display as a normal font instead of terminus.

Hey, I've been out of the loop for a while, what's the most popular minimalist DE? I used to use blackbox, but that seems to be mostly dead.

I'm seeing a few xfce setups, a few fvwm, and at least one i3 screen. I'd consider openbox but I've tried that before and fuck xml config files.

What minimalist DE should I use? Preferably something no compositing or fake compositing, so I can play games on my 6 year old system.

2bwm is probably the lightest, but Spectrwm, IceWM, herbstluftwm, and fvwm are all good. Do you want a tiling or a floating wm?

I'm used to floating. I've tried tiling but I'd probably prefer to stick with floating.

You should probably use fvwm, then. It's the best floating wm, in my opinion.
