Hi I'm new here, just had a question. What is this? How would you fix it? Everything's slow and turning off. There's dozens of these things, I delete and new ones show up

Install Gentoo

Actually good advice this time, at least for someone this retarded with computers. It would be like fat camp, it would be painful but he would be a different person on the other side

Ok thanks. Then what?

>Then what?
Then your problems will be solved

Is it antiviral? Will it fix my PC without getting a new one? It's in overdrive right now I'm afraid the parts will wear.

Why haven’t you just clicked the fucking button to remove that shit yet

Jow Forums is not your tech support board. Go away

???

Read the rules

you're really bad at tech support.

Reinstall Windows?

your gombootah got aids. backup your important data and reinstall windows (better yet do ) and next time don't download shit from questionable sources

Someone else told me to install gentoo. Which would you suggest?

Killing yourself

Install gentoo or at least reinstall windows 7 are you joking m8 you gotta nuke that machine unless you want every bank account you've ever accessed on that computer stolen

That sucks. I don't want to have to change my passwords. Is there a better antivirus that'd fix this? The ones I've posted are only about a fifth of what this antiviral is showing

No, user. What the fuck is the point of this thread? We have given you advice (reinstall Windows). Do that. There is nothing more you can do with 100% certainty to fix the issue. Stop being stupid on the internet, both with posting here and your other browsing habits

Removing that shit won't change the fact that your passwords are compromised.

You need to stop posting. This isn't a tech support board. Literally the only way to deal with RATs is to reinstall your OS. You can try to remove it but you'll never know for sure if it's gone. Unless you have a snapshot/backup/image/whatever, you gotta reinstall your OS. You should assume your passwords are taken already. Change your email password and change your bank password and change the password of anything you care about. If you use the same password for everything you have a lot of work to do. No there's no other way. Don't get viruses next time.

sfc /scannow and enable sercure boot on the bios you fucking mong

but if you know so much... how would you prevent something like this from happening? serious question. is this really that hard to prevent?

No. You are just stupid.

no it's impossible. hackers will always find a way around a windows system

what if it was a few thousand computers on a network. and you had a team of techs working full time. would this be hard to prevent?

Just reinstall your os or get a new OS dude. Are you stupid or something?

fuck off retard and kys immediately.

You. Are. A. Moron. People who use proper (read fucking Google it) procedures do not get the shit on their computer that you get on yours. You are trolling because there is no way you can be this fucking clueless. You can prevent that shit with 3 browser add-ons and not clicking on shady sites. Google which add-ons I'm talking about you braindead ape

I'm genuinely asking. Let's say half a dozen people are working to protect a few thousand computers, and this happened. would it be incompetence? bad luck? or malicious?

>all these people would rather post in yet another gpu thread than make fun of someone who downloads porn.png.exe

Literally just wipe everything, reinstall from scratch. Change all your passwords and check your credit reports. Then use a Linux OS until you grow enough brain cells to be trusted with a Windows install again.

Yes that's exactly right. They could protect those computers and those machines would never get bad viruses.

thats what I was thinking... kind of strange seeing this in such a huge system in this age

Right? It's really bizarre. Do you think it might be a foreign agency? There's no way normal viruses would get on a Windows machine in this day and age

>windows
Lol
>windows defender
LOL

when you're paying more than half a dozen people full time to protect these computers, yes, it does

You guys do realize he's on a vm not connected to the internet trying to get (you)s on Jow Forums and it's working? The guy took a fucking picture of his screen and people are trying to give him actual advice

I'm not trying to troll, and not on a vm. mostly just wondering how this could happen if there's a team of techs hired to prevent this.

Hackers got the backdoor keys and put them into your mainframe

Friendly reminder that in the new report system, there is a explicit clause to report threads for being tech support and everyone should use it the very moment these shitposts come around

do you think that is the mostly likely reason? I wondered if a tech did it. it seemed with over half a dozen full time techs that they'd be able to prevent this, but I don't know anything about security.

>we should report the only interesting threads on this board
yeah, we better go back to discussing GPUs and smartphones amirite?

seriously. I'm not asking for tech advice, more just everyone's opinion on whether you think this could be prevented or not, if you had half a dozen people working full time. The problem is there's a couple thousand PCs involved all on the same domain.

Backup, format, reinstall

Your PC is already compromised.

Yeah, my last job was in security like that. It's a hard field for sure. Have you decompiled your throughput reader yet?

security is not my department. I was hired more as a second opinion. there's a couple thousand computers compromised. I just don't see how it could happen with the amount of money paying to prevent this. and those techs solution was to get a new antivirus...

>this is interesting
>some retard pretending to be some random clueless retard baiting for (you)
ky

That's definitely not going to work, sadly. You're going to need to to talk to the Head security guy and have him update flash player on all of your machines. That should fix the issues, because flash player has a built in anti virus that tackles all those hardest viruses

Updating flash player is a good start. If he really wants to protect himself he needs to download the latest version of Adobe reader and start using Google Ultron.

Definitely, I was thinking flash more for the first level of getting all of it cleaned out. Those would be my next suggestion

they're not my machines.
I suggested they all be reimaged when it comes to such a large network constantly sharing files. but they seem sure of their "new antivirus" so they don't care what I have to say. as long as I'm getting paid...

うぁってぇふっく

Have you read the sticky? Numnuts

sticky got the iffy uh

It looks like you got some nasty viruses. The first thing I'd do is disconnect from the internet. Hopefully your device is only connected through ethernet, if so unplug the cable.

It's extremely likely that someone stole the keys from the system processing compatibility layer as someone previously mentioned similarly. You need to see if there's any way for you to access the central mainframe and decompress the certified filesystem.

A few questions before I can provide further support?

1. Were you at any point browsing a pornographic website?

2. Have you ever at any time had contact with any foreign intelligence agencies?

3. Do you have physical access to the central telecommunication mainframe?

4. Do you have virtual access to the relay transistor found either across from the mainframe or parallel to the transmitter?

install debian

yes
yes
yes
yes

2/10. You blew it.

simple, dont use a closed-source operating system

Seriously, what do you actually have to do to get fucked over like this in 2018?

...

thanks friend. the answer to all of those questions is no. I was just sent there to check everything out. I was surprised that something this severe could happen to such a well funded place. they're completely screwed but unfortunately there's nothing I can do since they don't seem to even realize it. I'm more just looking for your opinions on whether it was incompetence, malicious intent, or just plain bad luck. I've never seen anything like this in my life though, and I'm in way over my head. luckily my job is over, there's is about to become a mess.

that's honestly the only reason I started this thread lol shouldn't have started so trollish because I'm genuinely curious how this happened to this many computers when they hire half a dozen security techs

Incompetence for sure

well I can't argue with those digits
