3rd DWI i got a 3 year sentence and served 21 months.
4th DWI i got a 4 year sentence and served 20 months
5th DWI i got a 4 year sentence and served 20 months

I got lucky on the 3rd and 4th, but this time they threatened to file a 'habitual criminal' charge which carries 25 to life, so I spent 5 racks on a good lawyer, and got the 4 year sentence. That said, 3rd DWI if it is your first felony conviction, carries 2 to 20 years, so the Texas minimum is double the connecticut minimum and Texas maximum is 10x connnecticut maximum.
