Is w10 LTSB worth it
My usb wireless adapter is not working.
I recently built a new PC with windows 10, and everything is working fine, except when I try to install the drivers for the wireless adapter, my PC doesn't detect it. I've put it in every usb slot, including ones that I know work, and it's still not detected. I used it on a laptop, and it worked perfectly fine. Nothing I do works, how do I get my PC to detect it?
LTSB is not for desktop use. just use Enterprise build 1803

No, the only two things on the driver CD are the setup.exe and a file called documentation, which only has 4 pdf and 1 htm files, no .sys files anywhere.

Alright. I fucked up and DD'd over my secondary hard drives partition. Is there a way I can recover the partition fully (or somewhat) intact or am I completely fucked? It was on an NTFS filesystem and I overwrote it with a disk image.

If you only have an interest in single player time-sink RPGs like I do, and have already played most of them to death, there isn't much of a point unless the literal biggest next game comes out. I don't know how people do it. Skyrim loaded with mods is the only reason I'm really considering this, and even considering that I shrink at all the time I'll almost certainly spend just installing mods. Even then, I've easily put over a 1,000 hours into that game and its DLCs on consoles. The real question here is if dragon cock is worth thousands of dollars. That, I guess, and how good the Witcher series is. Again, is it worth the time? It's more of me being worried about wasting my time than money because price isn't really an object. If I could've gotten my hands on one, I might very well have unironically bought an Acer Predator 21 X just so that I'd never have to think about this again.

testdisk might do it. if not then photorec should be able to recover any files, but be sure to use advanced options to set parameters or you'll get thousands of unsorted files including your browsers thumbnail cache and shit like that

don't remember the exact way but when you start it before you actually run it there's an option for advanced options that'll let you set stuff like minimum/maximum filesize and filetypes to be recovered. it'll still all be unsorted though but for stuff like pictures you can use a program that'll read the metadata and put them in folders according to date, after you've recovered them

No, which is the problem. I need to have the USB plugged in to install the software, however my PC can't seem to detect the USB, while my laptop detects it fine. All the USB slots on the PC work perfectly.

Unless said game support mods, I don't think so. And graphic changes are usually not considered cheating, but you should ask before doing it anyway.
