Who Python bros here? Going to start learning/using Python a lot. I'm wondering what software you guys use to code. There are so many options out there I feel a bit overwhelmed. I run both Linux and Windows and will probably code on both so whatever you recommend I'll definitely check out.
Aside from that when do you become a 'good' programmer? I guess I'm curious as to what you need to be able to code to be considered 'good'.

Holy shit, what a fat whale

good programmers don't need to ask if they are good

Also an aspiring developer here. I've asked that question before and the answer is varied, controversial and not very helpful because of the developer community.

I would check out that ass

I use ed to code with python

notepad

Anything else is dumb.

Cool. I started with Python too. First, you might as well drop windows entirely as far as development goes. Nothing wrong with using Windows for other things, but not development, unless you are writing software specific to Windows.

Read Learn Python the Hard Way it's a pretty good start.

After that try making some websites with Flask or Django.

And you'll know when you become "good", don't worry about it.

Adding to my post. Didn't catch your other questions, my bad. I would recommend using Anaconda because it comes equipped with python libraries that it installed, and it adds a few built-in apps - one of them is an IDE for python (Spyder), another is jupyter notebook, which can be helpful if you need to see line by line what your code actually does. Finally, the others are just python utilities for more advanced users.

how can you be so low test. you must have pure onions running in your veins

Serious question here, can you satifiy a woman like this if you don't have a huge penis? I'm not a dicklet but I can't imagine my average size cock would be enough for her. She seems like she would lay there thinking wow, this guy is fucking terrible. How would I get it between her huge thighs for doggy?

Visual Studio Code

That's not possible is it?

Electron

You fail anatomy forever

Python is great to start to keep your interest up but eventually you'll have to learn C if you want to git gud.

> Xubuntu/Windows/MacOS (depends on project, Linux is easiest)
> Standard Python 3.7 install
> Pycharm
> Read Automate the Boring Stuff and Fluent Python when picking up the language.

Is it the future? Do I have to learn another javascript framework?

When you say 'good', what do you mean?
do you mean
>empirically good as in competitive programming tier, or adhering to a languages syntax standard perfectly or some other useless but neat qualification
or
>enough familiarity with general and language specific programming concepts to just be able to do whatever the fuck you want pretty easily
Assuming the latter, I would say around the time you run out of textbooks, start needing to rely exclusively on documentation to learn things, and get to the point where that isn't really an issue at all.
