Reminder that the only real cell phone options for privacy currently are an Android phone running a custom ROM like Lineage OS without GApps and being very mindful of what apps you install and what permissions you allow, or just using a dumb phone. Note that no matter what you will still have to deal with location tracking by the owner of any cell towers you connect to, but at least that's a minimal level of exposure compared to what a smartphone with a stock ROM gets your these days, and it's unrealistic to expect people to just completely stop carrying a phone.
