Yeah, I'm thinking they're back

Attached: XZ3.png (1600x899, 1.12M)

Pixel 2 XL, just over 400
use cloud instead of sd card, retard
Pocophone won't play well with att

Does the XZ2c still has the touch senstivity issue stated here talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-XZ2-Compact/XZ2-and-XZ2-Compact-Screen-sensitivity-issues/td-p/1314622 ? I'm thinking of getting one but if the touch screen issue is real and not a meme, I might skip this device. I play some weeb games so the touch sensitivity is a deal breaker for me. On another note, does the XZ1 suffer the same problem?

I'm on wifi most of the time since I'm going to university and I feel I wouldnt need the mSD with 128 gb but the moto mods you brought up do make a good point
Its pretty much the same as the Z3 but none of the moto mods (free battery mod) for an extra $50. Doesn't seem like as good a value, am I missing something?

How much better is Redmi S2 camera over redmi 5 Plus ??

Is it true that the first iPhone presentation was choreographed because the phone was a always a scroll away from crashing?

i ordered a pocomeme f1 and need a case. It comes with one so it isn't that pressing i guess. Most of the ones i could find so far look like shit, except for this one by nillkin. They seem to be bigger and offer cases for a ton of phones, anyone got experience with them? Are they good? Are they hard or made from soft silicone? Will they give me cancer?

Rate my battery life

Was thinking about getting a Pocophone F1 cause it's a cheap good phone, but leaning towards the Oneplus 5.

And input?

I loved my OG iPhone. You couldn't get one in Canada so when I went to Casino Niagara and won big, we went over the border and I bought one. Had to wait 3 weeks for it to be unlockable so I could use it with my provider, and I still didn't have a data plan at the time. People were so envious since BB was the hot shit at the time. Shortly afterwards, I lost my virginity to a hooker, followed by my first real time with a girl I didn't have to pay. I'd like to think that my iPhone was the reason. I still haven't owned an apple device since, but it was certainly a fun ride. Still works too, bit obv it's not worth owning now.

Thank you for reading my blog btw

the only thing you're missing about the Z3 is because it's sold through Verizon, the bootloader is locked down so you won't have timely updates or developer support to supplant OEM/carrier approved updates
The Essential is the way to go in your case

Is the cleanest way of installing that Xiaomi.eu ROM wiping everything except for that weird /cust partition or is there anything I'm missing?

I'm trying to install Lucky Patcher to individually patch selected apps that caution you about not having Google Play installed. But each time it tells me it could not be installed. I believe it is being prevented from installing because I receive a security warning before attempting to install it.

How do I install it? Otherwise I have to go back to installing Google Play?

Attached: Screenshot_2018-09-16-09-41-17~01.png (755x458, 42K)

Just buy it from somewhere where you can return it if you have any issues, Amazon gives you 30 days return period.

I had thr XZ1c and it was great

>Oneplus 5
Screen is upside down

>am I missing something
Better update support, better cameras (still one of the best cameras on any Android phone), IP67 water resistance (Moto Z3 is only splash resistant). Bootloader is unlockable if you buy it through Google, but not on the Verizon version. Prices should drop on Pixel 3 and 3 XL launch next month.

So when is the 8/256 (kevlar) variant of pocophone will comes out?

>always used android
>have a note 8
>tried friend's iPhone 8+
>literally ran EVERYTHING smoother
>the camera even looked better

I'm now thinking about upgrading to an iphone XS or whatever the new one is called.

This case is shit. It is made of a very brittle hard plastic. Will brake on the first fall.

>even the camera looked better

Attached: colonDDDDD.png (752x1088, 1.32M)

What is a good upgrade from an iPhone 6s plus?

Do I have to get the X max?

That's touchjizz for you

where my SE brothers at? are you hyped for iOS 12?

Attached: IMG_20180125_161315.jpg (3024x4032, 3.75M)

Is Lineage still the FOSS rom of choice, or has something better come around?

My note 5 is about ready to kick the bucket.
What are the best phones on Verizon? I would get a chinkphone but none of them are compatible with cdma.
I’ve always used android, but with how google has been acting, I would also consider an iPhone.
Any suggestions? I’d like to buy used and preferably under $400. Also I prefer larger phones

Hold out for a pixel 2 or go ahead and get an original since they're 180 good condition right now?

how well is the 6S+ working for you now?

the 8 and the X are pretty wonderful as much as I hate to say it.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and 2S are fully compatible with Verizon as long as you have a pre-activated SIM.

If you're buying used you can probably get a Pixel 2 XL at or under $400. If you're insistent on getting an iPhone then the 7+ is probably the best you can get at that price.

Anything AOSP based is good as well. Resurrection Remix, Pixel Experience, Omni ROM, etc. Not all of these are exactly new.

When buying from Ali, is it worth getting $26 DHL delivery if I'm fine waiting a week or two to get it delivered on the normal Ali shipping?

I'll look them up, thanks.

What store, and what country you in? Some stores offer import tax and duty free shipping to Europe.

Mi Zealer to UK.
If I had to DHL I would go with someone else

From what I've heard, with UK customs all you need to do to avoid customs fees is to ask the chinks to declare the package as "$20 MP3 Player" or something similar. So I guess if you're fine with waiting a little longer then go with the free shipping.

I downloaded some shady programs/apk trying to get an app for free. Now every time my phone opens something up in full screen, I will get some add playing. How can I uninstall these apps so this shit won't happen? I can't find them in my app section, and they're just nameless when I tab out. What to do guys?

I am using android btw

As I live in a 3rd world shithole, we only get 7-day return period on stuff.
How's the touch sensitivity? No issues? I'm thinking of getting the regular XZ1 since the Compact might be a bit too small for me. Also, how's the display? I've read somewhere about white lines and shit.

If someone ships from France, and the phone is broken, would I have to send it back to China or to France?

buy an iphone (or just don't download fake apks)

I wish I had an SE, got a 6. A9 > A8 obviously

Downloading 12 now though. Should suffice.

You'd have to ask the seller. What phone is it? Maybe you can find a UK based seller for it.

please user, this shit is annoying. There must be some kind of way to fix it

Attached: 1527368125037.png (854x1046, 544K)

Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

install gentoo

so /spg/
the Meizu 15 is now prety cheap
>Snapdragon 660
>Samsung Super AMOLED
>nice form factor 143 x 72 x 7.3 mm
>250€
the thing is the software is horrible
is it possible to root it and slap stock Androi on it?

Attached: Meizu 15.jpg (690x818, 128K)

Redmi Note 5. All of the ones on Amazon are £50 more than on Ali

Country : UK
Carrier : Three
I want a real good camera and good battery life, around the size of a OnePlus 2
I got £200 ±30 to spend

I wonder this as well.

I mean, a Xiaomi Mi 8 is relatively cheap, and as long as I can avoid customs, it'd be a nice upgrade.

How to surely avoid customs/toll charge though?

>meme f1
Don't. Stretch your budget and get a Mi8 instead

Yes, but that's because the iPhone was demoed like 6 months before launch. Leave it to Steve to make sure shit got done so well just before launch. Compare that to Cook who announced AirPower last year and, after realizing the tech was too shoddy to release (overheating, etc.) they just silently scrubbed all existence of it in marketing materials. No apology, no notice. Nothing. AirPower? What AirPower?

The employees that fucked that one up probably just got a stern talking to and that's it. Whereas Jobs would've been clamoring for death and fired people instantly. Or, better yet, not announced a product so early in the dev cycle.

Pocophone F1, it's ~£230 with the coupon.
joybuy.com/651360889.html

if you can live with a subpar camera and no nfc, go for it my nigga. still worth 300 euros

also r8 my autistically displayed cellphone history

Attached: cellphones.jpg (2501x750, 495K)

>jobs was a moron that announced a product too early and ran a massive con scam to trick morons into thinking it was ok
>jerbs wuz good!

>cuck was a moron that announced a product too early and just sweeps it under rock
>omg he so dumb!!!

>WHY CANT APPLE SCAM ME AND BRAINWASH ME HARDER

Attached: 1525523647537.jpg (600x400, 21K)

>subpar camera
You are using GCam, right?

My last Android was an LG G3.

Bootloop, laggy piece of shit. Since then, I've had an iPhone.

The question; how are Androids nowadays, compared to e.g. the G3?

never had much luck with xda pajeets splooging over using another cam, it this change considerable?

my brother had the Xperia U, what a piece of shit

>What to do guys?
Factory reset and:
just don't download fake apks

Not sure what kind of point you're making here. The iPhone OG came out on time and was a massive hit; incredibly stable and fluid.

Also, you mean to tell me no other demo hasn't gone off something like this? Look at literally any fucking game or console demo. None of them run on actual hardware.

>incredibly stable and fluid.
Why do you feel the need to lie?

Attached: 1518564691919.png (868x834, 232K)

Yes, it makes a big difference:
youtu.be/TrpFkYzoTi8

Just notice the uploaders comment:
>Please Note : The shots from 1:21 to 1:34, the shots are tagged wrongly. Google Camera is above and stock camera is below. The opposite of what's displayed

And the nice thing with the Pocophone is that the Camera2api required by GCam is enabled out of the box, so all you need to do is install the APK.

Nowhere in that article does it say that it *wasn't* stable or fluid.

>hahaha its soooo bad i need to preface my hot opinion with "scandalous to say ecksdee"

I don't see how any of these issues were things that Jobs demoed on stage for the iPhone launch. The demo on stage did not show MMS, 3G, third party apps (he demoed web apps, which was something he vehemently believed in, but was eventually convinced that on-device apps were a smarter choice), and never promised cut/copy/paste.

Those are separate and valid critiques of the OS, but not valid points on what I'm trying to convey. Jobs promised something by demoing it, and delivered on it. Cook has not.

i'm installing iOS 12 on my SE, will give feedback

Was decent for its time, 512 megs of ram at that form factor was pretty rare

What does this give me? I've had close to zero problems with my iPhone, compared to the G3.

This article doesn't persuade me in any way, I'd even call it old.

who else /usesituntilitbreaks/ here?
Thanks,I'll check them out

Attached: phoneHistory.png (1600x600, 668K)

Anybody got a list of good shit to install after you root your phone

They are fine
All that really matters is that they offer proper grip, so you never actually drop it

i dodged a bullet with the nexus 5x, it bootlooped shorty after i changed phone

Are the phones in scale? Here's mine, it's missing a Moto G5 after the OPO, and now a XZ1 Compact.

bumping my question. nothing else I can do except factory reset? Seriously guys?

Forgot pic

Attached: 1535203863728.png (2072x1072, 1.71M)

seems like the only solution, that's what you get for installing malware on your device for being a cheap fuck

>Oneplus one
>released in 2014
>still great specs for 2018
they sure made great phones man, now they're gone to shit

I still use my Z1C, I bought it on release (actually pre-ordered), so it now has 4 and a half years.
I've replaced the battery, call quality has somewhat decreased, the SD card sometimes disconnects itself, the vibration motor and speaker have faulty contacts, but the OS is okay and the screen is perfect because I had a screen protector until quite recently.

I've been spending days trying to find something to replace it but I just can't:
> small (~5.5" screen max)
> superior endurance
> good camera (better than the Z1C at least)
> headphone jack (but could do without)
> SD card slot
> waterproof
> treble support, rootable & unlockable bootloader

epic
is that one of the old galaxys?

XZ1C?

why mi8?

Currently got the Xiaomi Mi 5 64 GB. Is it worth to upgrade to a Galaxy S8+, new open box? Can get one on eBay for like $350-380.
Or should I just wait the new 7 nm processors?

Currently on an iPhone 6 and looking to get a cheap new phone. How is the Moto G5?

Just wait. Install a custom ROM if the phone's feeling slow.

Got an iphone se as a company phone and some fucking old wileyfox shitstain as a private one. Can xiaomi be trusted or should I invest like 600€ into an 64GB iphone xs via company contract?

it's shit, get the G5+, not the regular G5

Currently have an iPhone 5s, love it and has been quite reliable for at least 2 years despite crashing the screen twice.

Which phone should I get? I’m torn between the S9, Xiaomi mi 8 and the H20 Pro

>use cloud instead of sd card, retard
The irony

How?

yeah they are, i think it's interesting to see that the jews and their big screen marketing meme win in the end, never cared for big screen sizes but now i wouldn't go back

damn pocoshills

When is the Pocomeme comming out for Latin America? I need that LTE band 4.

Attached: Yuki_Nagato_by_Nolohndz.jpg (1024x768, 234K)

You’re welcome.

>damn pocoshills
You can look at comparisons yourself. What shills?

Not OP, but I'm pretty sure that's an S5.

Get out kike

upgrading from The Jow Forums Phone, the almighty moto g
is the oneplus 3/3t a sane buy or do i need to check myself into the psych ward

Attached: mighty boy.jpg (620x410, 61K)

Why buy a phone that's already out of date?
