Updating the Apple Watch is always such a long process, but thats the one we all wanna try out the most with the new WalkieTakie app, anyways, IPad Pro 10.5 and iPhone X run super smooth, still no sign of Waze and Google Maps update so I can use them on CarPlay.

iOS 11 slowed down my iPad Pro and 7 plus. They’re both running smoothly again now!

Having reservations updating my 6 plus from 10.1 to 12. It’s still very usable with good battery life on 10. Wondering if it gets any faster or slower. Most comparisons are just from 11 to 12.

Idk if Im missing something but right now the shortcuts seem really underwhelming. The GUI of shortcuts.app is really fiddly and I hate how variables are basically containers that can't tell you the kind of variable or whether it is a single/array of values.

I added a way of controlling my Jow Forums app via urls last week because I was hoping that I would be able to make a shortcut to do something like

>get the text from the tweet
>create and open a url that will open the app to the "create thread" screen with the tweet text already there
but that seems to be impossible

That sounds pretty cool, but I imagine it will be tedious trying to do that within the shortcuts app. I guess Ill give it another look. It would be much easier if they let you create them using something like applescript
