The people who work on/contribute/maintain/develop/etc the linux kernel have to work according to new "code of covenant" that puts being "DIVERSE AND COLORFUL AND GAY AND WOMAN" almost on the same level as being simply capable.

Have you actually read the thing? Even though I don't understand why he moved away from his ideology as not to have a CoC, and it is inherently a bad thing, it just says "don't be a meany boy" in all its entirety - and there is an appointed committee, the tab, that will deem an incident infringing or not. I still have some hope that it really is just a barrier against personal """"hostile"""" remarks (which may even hurt someone's feelings, oh no) rather than the eclipse of the biggest open source project ever created. And to be frank, removing hostility should not in fact be that bad of an idea.
