High end stuff it's boring because it's always predictible, always the same components. You could've gotten the 2700 non x and oc it to x level, and withthe extra munies you could get a 1080 or even ti if lucky
8/10

well the 2700x only cost me $270

Gg then

>meme board (not getting X470 for better power management)
>cheaping out on ram (not getting 3200)
>gayman case with retarded shroud (it's a matter of taste, and you like the taste of cock)
>getting a 1070ti when a 1080 is a few bucks more

well i got the b450 because it was $100 and it came with bluetooth and wifi.
i agree with the ram part i fucked up.

>2700X
Good
>b450 board
Cheap garbage. Get a good X470 with good VRMs.
>3000 DDR4
Seems fine.
>shintel SSD
Fine enough.
>Seagate HDD
Get another drive for backups, trust me.
>Phanteks P400
Stop. Just stop there. The airflow is fucking awful man.
>EVGA PSU
Seems ok. Maybe see if you can get a Seasonic model for a similar price.
>Nvidia card
seems fine.

>Seems ok. Maybe see if you can get a Seasonic model for a similar price
OP fucked up, a Seasonic Focus Gold is about the same price.

I already have an external 4tb wd for backups
I just the 2tb for big games.
I got the msi b450 because it was only $100 has wifi and bluetooth and of all the b450's it had the best vrms unlike the b350 gen.

Any advice on a different case ? I can always just transfer the case to my bro that needs an upgrade and i can get a different one later.

I paid $69.99 did i still fuck up ? evga gives it a 7 year warranty.

How about mine, Jow Forums?
>R7 2700X
>ASRock x470 gaming k4
>ASUS 1080 ti @1735mhz
>g.Skill FlareX 3200 14-14-14-34
>Siliconpower Ace 55 256GB SSD
>HGST 3TB 7200rpm HDD
>Corsair vs650 psu
And then some ancient HP disk drive that I dug out of a junkyard

seems okay to me.

Anything I should change next paycheck?
What sort of cooler should I get for overclocking?

honestly you'll just get diminishing returns by purchasing aftermarket coolers for ryzen because it doesn't really overclock much.

Not him but I've relied on cheap evga psu's for my last 4 builds. They have not let me down yet. I'm using the evga nex650g right now, and this is the second PC I've use it in.

>Not him but I've relied on cheap evga psu's for my last 4 builds
A good PSU will last 4 builds alone. Don't cheap out on PSU's.

Cheap EVGA PSU will last for 10 years. Paying $100 for a PSU is the same as niggers buying $300 sneakers.

>4
That depends on your upgrade frequency. I wouldn't expect or trust even a top of the line psu to last me 20 years straight.

case is nice. rest is trash. if amd - go threadripper. also lol 16gb ram and a micro ssd

>go threadripper
retard detected

Should have got 3200+ cl14 memory and a 1080ti
Apart from that I basically have the same build CPU and everything
Get a noctura D15 if you wunna keep it cool

what's wrong with 16gb ? and that's not a micro ssd you retard.

well to be honest the 1070ti was just a placeholder now i'm honestly just getting a gtx 1080 for like $440 new on ebay.

16gb isn't enough for 2 browser tabs
also 250gb is pretty micro
"but muh spinning disc drive" ahahahahah yeah "muh fast cpu and gpu but I spend all the day in loading screens" ahahahahha what a fucktart

Idiot that are the same speed get a 1080ti fuckwhit

what? lol

Normally I'd not even worry about it, but I lost the lottery and my Ryzen doesn't even hit its normal boost clock like it should. Mine maxes out at about 4.05GHz on all cores at 1.35V or 4.15 on a single core before it gets too hot.
At least, that's what Ryzen Master seems to be saying.

You're a fucking retard.

seems perfect.

>amd cpu
>nvidia gpu

You fucking traitor. Fuck you.

my only problem is ROG
Built with gamers in mind makes me think
>Designed to impress idots that just want something that looks cool.
Makes me suspect of it's actual quality.

what it's the best of both worlds.

most mobos are like that.

Noice
Drop in a 7nm amd gpu in 2020 and you'll be golden
