TrueOS

fuck your tiny image. openbsd or netbsd.

None.
>FreeBSD and derivatives
Even worse CoC than Loonix, and they're anti-hugs
>OpenBSD
OpenBSD is a meme etc etc
>NetBSD
literally who

ProjectTrident is the new successor to TrueOS

>OP here

>My bad about image size didn't see it until I posted it.
Why openbsd or netbsd?

Why TrueOS?

After trying them all...

OpenBSD right now unless you have an Intel GPU in which case you can also use Dragonfly for MOAR SPEED.

It'd be cool if this new Linux CoC causes an influx in OpenBSD devs. It's a really good system.

>Why TrueOS?

Because it aims to be the Ubuntu of the *BSD's.

Also, like I said mentioned, it is now Project Trident, if you install the latest TrueOS it no longer comes with a GUI desktop out of the box.

That is a feature of OpenBSD.

>Ubuntu of the
God forbid

Dragonfly, obviously.

I want to enter into her Dragon's lair if you know what I mean.

Can someone brief a newbie on the BSDs? I don't really know the differences between them other than being closer to a "true" Unix system than the Linux kernel.

What's the reasoning?

Post a decent sized image thanks

Will BSD run stuff that is normally made for running on Linux?

It's the fastest of the bunch with regard to both its processing and filesystem performance.

If its open source, most likely
If its proprietary closed source, nope

Linux compatibility is apparently a thing on NetBSD and FreeBSD.

Thanks x 2

Why do these threads always have their OP image removed?

Fuck, wrong thread. I need to go to bed

none just keep using your fucking phone you goddamned faggot nigger

BSD is a derivative of Unix
Linux is a clone of Unix
because of this they're mostly alike in terms of what software they run, etc. but they have interesting alternatives in terms of default programs, kernel features, security features, and so on, and a competing license philosophy.

Switch to PacBSD u capitalist scum
