That's not how it works kiddo, Whatsapp is closed source abs we don't know how it works, that's the problem with Whatsapp. Besides a simple google search reveals what those said encrypted chats are the most popular being Signal. Even whatsapp is more secure than a shovelware that leaks your IP that's for sure.
