Nobody gives a shit about power consumption faggot.

>same or even worse performance per dollar
>15-20% improvement at best in performance per watt

So stick with Pascal unless you absolutely need the 2080ti's performance?

>21% faster
>500$ more yikes

>Diminishing returns.
We all know about this.

kek

Attached: gtav.jpg (2554x1440, 288K)

Why can't kikery have diminishing returns?

>1080ti has 10x score than 1030
>doesn't actually perform 10x better
great "score" system

CPU limited

so basicly on all the *nvidia suggested games* its 30% faster
and on the rest is from 15 to 21% faster
so basicly we gonna see a shitload of nvidia sponsored games

The RTX 2080 Ti is bottlenecked at lower than 4K even on an overclocked 8700K. It runs faster at 4K than 1440p.

so now nvidia is cpu bottlenecked? on 2k res?

lol thats some next level bullshit

At 113 fps? Yes. High FPS is CPU demanding and GTA V is a CPU intensive game.

>Why can't kikery have diminishing returns?
Because kikery is the end game, and currently there aren't any other options other than just accepting the kikery.
It's not like AMD is an option at this point at all, because you might as well just buy an older nvidia card.

false. youre wrong

Turing needs to be benchmarked on Core i9-9900K

Because 9900K is Stepping 12 vs Stepping 10 on 8700K, it also has Meltdown and L1TF hardware fixes like Whiskey Lake

>4k 144hz gaming is now possible
>over 50% faster than 1080ti
how did they do it?

Attached: chrome_2018-09-19_16-45-53.png (2560x1440, 1.18M)

>how did they do it?
By not being AMD.

kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/dominic-moass/nvidia-rtx-2080-founders-edition-8gb-review/13/

>DLSS increases framerate by 37% while improving image quality

All the reviewers have missed the point.

Holy moly

Just buy it goy, you need goytracing in your life.

>kitguru
Don't trust them. They do little more than parroting what marketing says.

*sigh*

Attached: 1521576450615.jpg (800x600, 130K)

The RTX 2080 is a flop. It matches a GTX 1080 Ti 20% extra price (based on current retail prices). The RTX 2080 Ti is just so fucking expensive despite being a beast it's only for rich fags.

that msi one tho

Cherry picking when it comes to new hardware is actually valid, because you will only play a specific subset of games or use specific applications.

Kitguru is the best.

It's Vega all over again.
Lower card has the same performance as current cards at a higher price (2080/56)
Higher card performs better in certain cases, but the price to performance makes it a terrible value (2080ti/64)

It's actually got pretty high power consumption.

Bahahahahahhhaaa

At full load it still consumes less than vega64.

That's like saying at full load it consumes less than a GTX 480. Also known as saying not much of anything.

So from what I get it only really is a step up for 4k gaming, and it doesn't do better (possibly worse) for lower than that

Great job AMD, HOWEVER

AMD IS RUINED

Attached: untitled-2.png (682x934, 47K)

>isn't as far behind as it has been

New AMD slogan.

Yup! It's CPU bottleneckec at lower resolutions too.

This game shows how GOOD game development can be when you are coding to the metal.

>Vega 56 matching a GTX 1080
I feel breddy good right now.

>Nvidias top end gaymer card is 80% faster than Ayymds top end gaymer card
Amd just got *dabbed* on.

What he's saying is there isn't a better option

>Cost per frame

that is the dumbest fucking metric i have ever heard of

Time to get a 1080Ti
20 series was a let down.

Attached: nvidiCucked.jpg (784x633, 71K)

Why? It's essentially displaying value for budget minded people

yikes guys.

Attached: nvidia.jpg (776x632, 53K)

>that is the dumbest fucking metric i have ever heard of
Back to bleddit newfag.

That's a pretty obvious case of CPU limitation

You really don't understand CPU limitation.

Budget minded people know what they want to spend.

>Everyone look I'm retarded
Woah dude, no one is saying you're socially retarded.
Here's a (you)

>Vega 64 almost reached 1080 Ti performance
>AMD IS RUINED
What?
The only conclusion from that chart are, Turing architecture is optimized for Vulkan/DirectX 12 more than last gen Pascal.

Vega 64 can nearly reach GTX 1080 Ti performance when game developers can actuallu code. ID are god tier developers and will show how well the hardware from either manufacturer performs when a game is well balanced and coded close to the metal using Vulkan.

>my 1070 performs the same as rx580
I demand a refund Jensen

>CPU limited at 90 or less frames
wew

AMD is sandbaging, just wait till they enable their drivers, titan v is finnished

>j-just wait
lmao

Worked for 290 users :)

I won't have CPU bottleneck issues with a 2080Ti if I have a 1950X right?

I see you still live at your parents house.

a 1080ti is another option....

and a sensible one at that

you wouldnt have bottleneck issues with a 2200g at this point

nah, power is cheap here

Attached: no 1.jpg (703x539, 37K)

Do you know how stupid you sound?

cherry picking is valid because you gonna play a specific set of games?
like the ones that only are nvidia sponsored for example?

Attached: benchmarks.png (1414x774, 32K)

tomshardware.com/reviews/powercolor-red-devil-rx-vega-64-8gb,5517-5.html

gaming full load 282
gaming full load oc 325

2080ti gaming 343

yeah i can see that

Why is Vega 56 $430 and not $400?
Why did they only test in games that favor the 2000 series cards (And they still do shitty in them?)

Steve confirmed shill, as if it wasn't confirmed already.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA

Attached: t7OtRQo.jpg (683x463, 87K)

Good card if all you play is wolfenstein 2.

And the $750 2080 is behind the $500 Vega64. Lmao.

are you restarted? if someone have money to spend on 2080ti he also can pay his electric bill. I bet you are guy who is paranoid about opening fridge for to long
