Release source code under GPL

Install Gentoo over it.

We don't need to anymore. Linux is cucked so Windows automatically wins.

win 7 is slow, bloat, and old

No thanks. I don't feel like spending years fixing something thousands of pajeets dedicated their lives to ruining.

>slow
Subjective
>bloat
Easily cared of
>old
Irrelevant

You don't live on the edge like me, running the latest and buggiest edition of Windows 10

Sell it to apple

Ltsb

Considering it's user base (tech illiterate retards) it's perfect, take away every piece of control over the OS from them so they don't mess thing ups.
If you have a 3 digit IQ then you can use the LTSB or another OS.

>it's
>mess things ups
It takes one to know one.

Did I hit too close?

remove UWP trash
remove winstore and rest of preinstalled garbage apps.
remove flatshit and redesign gui something similar to win7 or there are a lot fanmade youtube designers that made miles better gui for win10. hell even macOS win10 skin looks 1000 times better than current win10. i dont care about muh botnet.

Free and open source LTSB.

>closed source
cant do shit

You must be new here
WE. DON'T. DO. SHIT.

Unless you include bitching

>bloat

as opposed to what? because it's certainly less bloated than 8 and 10

fpbp

when is the next LTSC release coming lads?

FPBP

honestly 90% of the people here wouldn't have a problem with it if they got rid of the botnetting and the 'not letting your admins do admin stuff' problems.

>remove ads
>make it free as long as you keep telemetry enabled
>add a classic start menu option natively
>make the system adapt to it being used on a HDD (automatically disable non-vital processes that rape the drive)
that's it

forgive me I am russia

>updates
gone
>nu settings
gone and control panel is right in the taskbar

>doesn't even know what FPBP stands for

How new are you?

Release Seamless Updates, which they've been trying to get working for nigh on ten years now - which not only allows updates to currently-running executable files with the locking changes introduced into the Windows 10 kernel, but allows live runtime patching from the hypervisor, through the executive, right down to userspace.

They really should have got that working before switching to a forced rolling release model - because at the moment now everyone's rightfully annoyed about surprise inconvenient reboots as a core part of the Windows 10 experience, and they release regular updates whose install process is essentially the entire slow OS install process - when instead, it could just be live, rebootless, current, and (dare I say it) stable.

They've been working on it for so long Linux actually ended up skipping ksplice and intregrating kpatch || kgraft and major distros are actually starting to release it. Debian's going to have it before Windows does at this rate.

learn to fucking count nigger

Remove Telemetry
Dont break WDDM interfaces with every big update.
Use the same skin for every application.

'not letting your admins do admin stuff

If you want to make any changes from within a program, you can use NSudo to open it as "TrustedInstaller" and force anything down window's throat.

Back when I had no SSD my pc would wake up from sleep mode to update at 4 fucking AM. Nsudo stopped that for good.

REKT

Windows 10 wins by elimination.

LTSB
Get rid of the Xbox, OneDrive and search "app" leftovers.

Security patches for at least 2 decades.

Done.
