Did you add it under "my filters"?

I added ublock origins and it seems to work here

OP do you get connection errors when submitting the quick reply form?

Yeah, it's in that tab, at the way bottom. Not sure why it does nothing.

bump

This should block the embedded script at the bottom of the page that loads obfuscated JS from images.

! 9/19/2018 - Hiro and adclix.
##script:contains("adclix.png")
##script:contains("img[src*='wpengine.netdna-cdn.com']")

Yep, unfortunately I'm getting connection error when I try to use quick reply
I can only reply using the shit that's at the top

>right click somewhere
>block element ublock TM
>locate your target
>click it

won't help for newer places, hiroshimoot is just really terrible at writing ad code.

The two of you together worked. Thanks Jow Forums.

hastebin.com/xowedekore.json Decoded obfuscated image.

hastebin.com/iteyemerac.py A quick and dirty python script for decoding your own samples.

Did some research, the ad network is called Yavli and they've been giving ABP and uBlock a run for their money for a while.

*Got it
It's a backup adloader
It downloads the same fucking ads and displays them on a canvas
and sets up the canvas for tracking clicks
The image is JSON data

Adblock can't easily handle javascript ads in any form. You need something like a noscript or umatrix to deal with them. Hiroshimoot just runs it locally to get around those things.

Reminder: if they can run javascript they can literally log every keystroke and mouse click, ads are the least harm that can be done with it.

I'm aware, which is why we have , which DOES block the script tag.

The cdn domain will be static but there's no need for that, filenames might as well be randomized too. It's dumb for them to not do so. Either way it's a half measure.

Thanks, I can do the cosmetic filtering just fine but this here is the more annoying.

10 years ago I found noscript overtly annoying. These days it feels like it's gotten more necessary.

It was necessary then too, you're kinda slow.

>not using a fork of SABS for phone wide ad blocking
Samsung haters btfo

can you elaborate please? i just got a samsung s8 for cheap

Does the server has some kind of region-specific thing?
Because I don't get any of this at the ublock log (to block) at all.

Tfw using android

haven't seen an ad since 2014
