Basic, not used to KDE. Nor Debian. Should be different.

Such a low resolution but it looks really good.
The girl behind the bookshelf is cuter and that artstyle isnt nice
That's a dude.
no it isn't you gay idiot
>disliking traps makes me a gay idiot
now you're making me think
there aren't any traps in that picture
Yeah there are.
nope
What the hell is that terminal emulator and where do I get it?
Please post background pic.
Yep
cygwin.com
>Virtualbox
>Not activated
kek
Already have Cygwin installed, just need to know the name of the exact program being used there. Mintty is shit and no matter what font I use it never is 100% right when it comes to displaying monospaced fonts (and running urxvt under VcXsrv in Windows is stupid)
Pic related. Latest version has improved it a lot but some elements just don't connect right still under most fonts, sadly including Terminus 9pt
It's ConEmu
I installed elementaryOS ironically but I might unironically like it
Fresh install
That's because it's the macOS of Linux.
I wanna learn more distros. P fun hobby
I've only used macOS on school laptops so my experience is pretty limited. I didn't like it because it was completely different from windows and thats what I was used to. This just feels like mac but I can still operate it like the debian I'm used to.
I don't see why it gets shit on by ubuntu users, this is pretty comfy.
The devs are smug shits and their "app store," aka package manager, won't auto update apps unless you pay actual money for them.
Hmm thats a shame. I have noticed that the (((app store))) is pretty shit though, its not downloading a single app I ask it to and its not updating anything I ask it to. Although I knew I was probably going to stick to the terminal for package management so this isn't too big a deal.
They aren't getting a dime from me though fuck that.
Post original image
Pantheon is one of those things you either love or hate, and I personally hated getting limited by what I could do with it in terms of customization.
Gnome 3 just kinda does it better IMO.
Also this
tfw superior taste
fuck fetch
How the fuck did you manage to edit your Spotify color scheme?
stop loving cock so much.
Hmm, how is Gnome with a core2duo? I imagine it would be slow. I have the same processor and would like to check it out
2.28 in particular is kinda shit compared to some of the previous releases I've used. Just waiting for 18.10 to ship with gnome 3.30 as I've read that has a lot of under the hood performance improvements. It works okay enough though, and while the GUI does lag a bit on startup, it doesn't get in the way of things like Youtube playback in Chrome or even some light gaming in Garry's Mod or whatever I have installed right now.
one eye on the passed out titties
one eye on the streets
Yeah I've noticed this DE has zero customization options. Only thing I've seen I can change is whats on my dock bar. That setup you have is almost the same as default elemetaryOS as far as looks go. So I might just go back to debian and get Gnome.
github.com
you can only change like 3 colours but it's something
mad cause shit taste and both my dick and salary are bigger than yours lol
What's Kenji doing
That's Hanako ultra retard faggot newfag.
There are some GTK themes that support Pantheon and last time I used eOS there was a tweak tool you could get for it. But yeah, Gnome 3 just does it better no matter what
Linux only...
FUCK.
>2gb ram
I get you're committing to the old hardware, but you'd might as well max it out
Shitbox's mobo maxes out at 2GB sadly. I'd love to full send on 4 and I may or may not try to track down a P4 mobo that can do that as also not having SSE2 sucks
Get a HP Compaq dc5700 for $40 on ebay like me, its mother board has plenty of slots for ram. I took apart all my old/dead PC's and now I have 6gb of ram in this bad boy
getting ready for a good time
That fucking low profile form factor is what kills it for me, user.
Yeah I can understand that. I have a gpu from another dead computer that I would love to use in this machine but I just cant.
If I wasn't such a poorfag/afraid to spend money, I'd build a decent computer and never have to deal with these fucking problems.
>Linux only...
I found this but it only works for older versions of spotify it seems community.spotify.com

>newfag
ummmm sorry sweatie but I've been here much longer than you. I know a trap when I see one.
Whoa, all these screenshots...you guys actually use Linux? I thought we were just roleplaying the entire time.. Fuck man
last thread someone asked how to recreate this, and how it compares to windowmaker, so
>how to recreate:
search for qtstep theme (kwin/aurorae or xfwm4, kvantum, lxqt theme) + gnustep icons
>how it compares:
i can't really say, i never used wmaker for more than a day, i just like the look
No I won't hide the dock, I can't stand having to wait full 3 seconds for it to slide in.
I won't delete stock applications I never use either, I need to give the impression I'm a stupid Apple user to look gay at university and avoid having men trying to befriend me as I'm scared of them.
spacemacs is cool but a little too bloated on the older thinkpads
also nice rei
Also I got bored of the terminus everywhere thing so I changed up my urxvt
Thinking of moving to suckless shit like dwm and st though.
Does dwm work well with i3lock? Or would I have to use something else?
botnet/10
Workbench is based.
Nice. Especially the icons.
Did you just start using OpenBSD or do you like default fvwm?
Checked. Great colour scheme.
Nice pape.
This is sane minimalism.
This looks good desu, reminds me of a newspaper.
Here goes... something?
Simple but kinda uninspired. Play around with it some more, see what you can make out of that.
Are you even trying?
Legitimately aesthetic as fuck. Never used an SGI IRIX machine but looking at this makes me want to track one down.
Everything about this is so inconsistent, from the icon pack and placement of your icons on your desktop, to which windows have titlebars and which don't. Your setup is quite literally an obsessive compulsive's nightmare.
Simple, but once again uninspired. Maybe look into getting a different GTK theme and tweaking your shell a bit with a couple of extensions.
What... What am I looking at here? Is this a real Amiga or just some kind of emulator?
You are not the real Cirno here.
Gay as hell but my kinda gay not gonna lie. I like it.
Not sure if Windows or some kind of *NIX but I love a good blackbox setup.
Cute pape
Part 2 electric boogaloo
Retro aesthetics are always nice.
Hi Ben
Making a lot out of a low resolution. Nicely done, love the color scheme
Not enough dicks. Also, how one can do this with MacOS still amazes me. Last time I tried using MacOS on one of my old work computers, I felt so fucking locked down compared to any other *NIX system I've used
Cute. I still kinda love netbooks even if they kinda conceptually failed.
>Virtualbox
Nice meme
I actually really do like the stock Elementary style, not gonna lie, even if you are fairly limited with what you can do with it
Nice color scheme. Cute wallpaper.
Do something with this, fucking hell man. Uxtheme patches are a thing, get a VS rocking on this shit.
Hella cute and hella comfy. Love the color scheme and I wish you could do that Spotify edit on Windows.
Serial rapist/10
Hi Ben
Fuck me the character limit is too low
A good start. Don't see too many people rocking the Dash to Panel extension, would love to see what else you'll do with this.
So. Fucking. CLEAN. I love it.
Based as always
This fucking cheesed me really hard at first. Didn't know KDE could pull off this kind of aesthetic and I'm legitimately impressed.
Cute wallpaper, but stock MacOS is meh
>avoid having men trying to befriend me as I'm scared of them.
If you don't mind me asking, why's that?
Clean, Simple. I like what you've done here.
Do something with your panels, it seems unfinished with a mismatched panel color scheme.
Memetop
You turned Arch Linux into Windows 98. On one hand I'm impressed and on the other why?
Is Budgie even any good compared to Gnome or KDE?
>Virtualbox
>Nice meme
thanks, it was fun.
>enlightenment
wtf is that shit still even around!?!
Seriously I don't think I have used that since mandrake in like 2001-02 or something
I solarized fucking everything + bigger font for my aging boomer eyes
