The only way that would work is if the CoC prohibits accepting code made by "undesirables" (i.e. intelligent white males and females). When you fork you also inherit the license. So the CoC linux group could just copy the code form the new project. Unless there is an option to rescind the commits fork Linux, and then add the old code back in under a different license that prohibits forking or copying of the code.
