I liked this browser but one day I found it gives your user agent as phone model, build etc. You can set it to custom but if you do that, it leaks the x-referred-with header. You just cant set a custom user agent without disclosing xreferred with header. Absolute privacy nightmare.

I have mixed feeling about Lightning Browser. It is by far the fastest browser I have used on my Android devices (at least as far as UI performance goes), but its lack of address space isolation between content from different websites concerns me... I haven't used it since the details of Spectre V1 were published.

I imagine the final image isn't composited every frame, and if the scene doesn't change then the framebuffer isn't written to. If the scene changes (e.g. scrolling) then you need to write to the framebuffer, thus wasting battery.

It's power consumption is so insignificant that it almost uses 0% battery. It's also only enabled while your WiFi or mobile network is active.
