Your link made my anti-virus pop up.
Use chromium.
You should be blocking js with umatrix or ublock origin when visiting new sites. You don't need js to view that site btw. Pic related.
Thanks user
Icecat and ungoogled-chromium do not have this problem
Bump
>mastodon toots

mfw I have use chrome or firefox to test the website
I used chrome since I first heard about it years ago. Fight me faggots.
FUCK
never used chrome, what does logging into chrome even mean
>ungoogled-chromium
why do you people keep shilling this meme
Last night I tootpaste into your sisters fish hole?
Why do you think it's a meme? It's just chromium with google services ripped out. That being said, I still prefer Firefox for about:config and other UI customization.
>If you sign in your browser using your Google account, your browser talks a lot with Google
No shit sherlock, don't sign in your browser then?
But that's what I mean, it's only got the google services ripped out. Flags are absolute dogshit compared to about:config.
I don't see any point in it except if you're a lazy fuck who only cares about google services creeping on you but you're still leaking a shit ton of data
First I was told that ungoogled-chromium contained less spyware than chrome/chromium browsers.
From there I went to the project's github page and I've read some of the information in the README.
To me it seems that the developer is indeed working in removing/mitigating the google influence on chromium.
You can notice that some pages do not work because they are sending data to google that identifies the user.
e.g. About Chromium -> Get help with Chromium
They get paid by alphabet. Duh.
>To me it seems that the developer is indeed working in removing/mitigating the google influence on chromium.
Like trying to secure a house with no doors that's always under construction m8. What is the point?
Don't use Chrom* then
...Who cares? Anyone with a brain stopped using Google accounts 3-5 years ago.
Why? Chromium is perfectly fine even without linking a Google account.
Someone didn't read the article
It's not. In build 67 or 68 vanilla chromium started connecting to accounts.google.com on startup.
Makes sense, I've seen a lot of screenshots of people on Jow Forums signed into their chrome browsers.
Literally using Samsung browser on my Samsung phone, and FF ESR on my linux laptop. Idgaf.
