Israeli company called Luminati Networks, a literal botnet company suing Tesonet while PIA, TorGuard and WindScribe make websites, twitter accounts, youtube channels and more to try and defame their biggest competitor NordVPN with zero evidence.
Shill accounts of VPN employees found: >TorGuard employee Kevin Vadala >couple of websites, Reddit users, a subreddit, a Youtube account and a Twitter account engaged either in promoting TorGuard or criticizing NordVPN (as well as PureVPN and some other VPN services). >These include the VPN review/comparison/etc website best10vpn.com, which has TorGuard as the best VPN on virtually every list; the vpnscam.com website, which has been heavily pushing the NordVPN-data-mining angle; the VPNscams subreddit, which has been doing exactly the same.
>allegations were first made in a PDF circulated by a ‘concerned citizen’. The citizen in question, unfortunately, left part of his Google profile pic in a screenshot, and an image search revealed his identity. As it turns out, the citizen, named Caleb Chen, was probably most concerned about PIA’s revenue. You see, Mr. Chen is an employee of London Trust Media, which is the parent company of Private Internet Access. Private Internet Access (PIA) concerns archive.is/dRC4c

So, Hola, the literal botnet, is owned by the same company that owns PIA?
Nathaniel Bell
no, the lawsuit between Luminati networks (israeli) and Tesonet are being used as bait by TorGuard, PIA and WindScribe shills to try and defame NordVPN. It's fucking retarded but they just want to bring NordVPN in a negative light with brainlets and normies who don't look into it.
Zachary Roberts
don't forget they tried the same thing with protonvpn
Samuel Rogers
Is Israelis fear the Nords
Camden Butler
nordvpn's only sin was running an aggressive ad campaign for a service that makes a bunch of computer illiterates think they're leet hackers they're possibly the best VPN available right now definitely top 5
Leo Davis
Hard to believe with all of the NordVPN shills on Jow Forums lately
Brandon Nguyen
ironically shilling nordvpn on Jow Forums is a meme where you been
Josiah Sanchez
Is there any actual problem with PIA or are they just being scum against its competitors? Bc I already paid for the 2 years but I'd switch still if they were actually doing fucked up shit.
Jacob Young
wtf I love NordVPN now!
Bentley Torres
>ironically shilling nordvpn on Jow Forums is a meme where you been Since when?
VPN's are mostly all the same. VPN companies lease a fuckton of servers and you pay access to all those servers. You should use open source software like OpenVPN to connect to their servers, not use the VPN's closed source application.
As far as PIA, I'd be worried about slow speeds since they must have a ton of normies slowing down the system after Linus Shill Tips has been advertising them lately.
Julian Thomas
>quotation marks instead of greentext you have to go back
nord is one of the shadiest vpn providers around, along with proton.
Kevin Williams
almost all VPN providers are shady desu
Ethan Davis
>literally handing over all your data and paying them cucks want to be get cucked do they?
Joseph Ward
>he doesn't use mullvad What went wrong?
Colton Flores
All these nord threads being spammed on Jow Forums right now seems eerily similar to some other corporate shilling attempts on this board, and it's common knowledge that all attention is good attention. There's also this video that shows the depths this company is willing to stoop to just to get the word out. youtu.be/VrME4kn15rQ
Looks like a singled out false flag planted by nordvpn to transfer the blame to muh competitor shills, from actual people that might have been burned by the service.
Jackson Morales
>they spelled my name wrong in a marketing email >they wanted to talk to me on the phone >their job title was influencer marketing specialist >they didn't make me an upfront $ offer they wanted me to name a price what does any of this have to do with nordvpn being a bad vpn? I watched the whole video it's just him bragging about how he's not a sellout.
Joseph Baker
I'm talking about the shit they make content creators go through for a few measly k's, channels who adopt this shit start to look a lot more like LTT trash without the money that comes along with it. I linked that video as it's key information for how nordvpn's unusually aggressive marketing operates. If all you got from the video is him bragging then I won't try to convince you further, it's obvious you'll only see what you want to see.
Isaac Gonzalez
>Nord >Proton >Shady Looks like the paid shills are here too.
Isaac Ward
I don't know why you would ever trust a VPN. You're literally funneling everything threw a single source.
Nolan Rogers
t. PIA shill
Josiah Martinez
As opposed to what? funneling everything through your ISP so that they can see it all?
James Williams
Without a VPN you're doing the same thing, except you can't easily just reconnect and get a new IP, or even connect to a node in another country. Plus there's a huge difference between your ISP, who is definitely logging your shit, and a VPN provider, who promises to not log your shit and who you pay specifically to not log your shit.
Carter Rogers
Since we're talking about VPNs is ghost VPN good to use?
Is NordVPN good? I just want to torrent shit on Uni internet without getting shit for it.
Kevin Morales
used airvpn for years - very transparent, fast, reliable.
Thomas Carter
That's fine if you're just torrenting
Ayden Turner
literally just get mullvadVPN and be done with it
Jose Moore
Guess I was right in choosing NordVPN intstead of other non-white VPN providers. Based.
Jaxson Nguyen
>NordVPN: "we are hiring one of the largest professional service firms in the world to run an independent audit and verify our ‘no logs’ claim." What stops them from uncommenting #SpyOnUsers 1 the day after the audit?
They're not recommended by privacytools.io and they are hosted in US which is 5 eyes central. Probably backdoored by the NSA and subject to secret FISA orders like what happened to lavabit
