YouTube is not an endless music playback system. It's a video platform.

I have used youtube as music player since 2009, it worked great until today.

>coldplay
even youtube got bored.

>dadcore

You can write your own app for custom youtube playback in an afternoon

I didn't have this problem yesterday and it was an hour long album.

shortcut to mpv --ytdl-format=bestaudio $(sselp/xsel)

>There is peoples on Jow Forums - Technology that use Jewtube to listen to music
>Not just downloading the .mp3 files and adding them to Winamp

oh vey shiggy diggy

Nope, I write in C.

>Using youtube for music
AYY LMAO

this

>mp3s
>Winamp
found the 30 yo boomers

enjoy your NoTunes whenever youtube decides to make it annoying or impossible, like apparently NOW

my music will always be mine as long as I have electricity. No need to rely on internet connections or services that can pull the plug whenever they feel like it

but im the one that sstupid right?

fuck off

nigger did you even PROCESS what i wrote?

>Dadcock
>Listening to music that isn't flac
Not like you enjoyed it to begin with. Also mpv doesn't have this problem.

sure lmao enjoy ur youtube m8

>coldplay is now dadrock

I haven't seen this happen, if it is a thing it's very recent. Anyway, why not try mps-yt?

why is it wrong to use youtube as music player? It's quick and fast
>hur jew
I use adblock

>winamp
i don't know what's worse - a gentoo man using windows or outdated and unsupported software.

>waaaa its not supported and outdated

its literally a lightweight program that plays music

you sad it doesnt give you daily twitter updates?

cause you gotta need those

If only winamp added native support for MP4 10 years ago.

>lightweight
hardly
>you sad it doesnt give you daily twitter updates?
nah, but i'd rather it supported latest codecs out of the box
the only redeeming quality of winamp was it's music library management system. foobar is objectively better and still being developed if you're using windows (which you shouldn't). deadbeef is an alternative for foobar on linux.
if only radionomy actually remade it.

youtube supports playing flac retard

>codecs
>for mp3

Winamp is the only software which can play Cruisin' USA - Prepare for the race at full blast in its raw format.

> quick and fast
Also requires an internet connection and a gig of RAM
Downloading your shit means you no longer need an internet connection (eg. if you live somewhere where the jews meter the connection) and you can play it on a pentium 233 with 64 MB of ram if you want

>metered connection
lmao what? Is this a thing? I'm thirdies and I can download a terabyte if I want

The internet sucks in the third world.

With 64th Note?

A while back they start a campaign using psychology to intentionally annoy users who listen music all day.
They really hate people listening to music on their platform.

Yep

I live in third world shithole brethren.

I think you missed the memo where YouTube advertises itself as a music playback platform, you know the whole "Youtube Music" thing

>i'd rather it supported latest codecs out of the box
What more do you need it to support? Let me guess you need some bullshit like Opus

opus
yes. it's objectively best lossy codec there is at this point in time.

eh to each there own I guess
Don't have a single native opus track as everything I play is always in its original format if I can help it as I'm not space constrained (have to convert flac to alac because iphone)

yeah. i have flac library which i keep on my hdd. i have the same exact library on cloud which is synced to my phone.

I like to have the recs, they usually work for me.

Bait

I wanted to try this out and even loaded the same song as OP. It didn't come up and I was fucking baited into listening to Coldplay.

Fuck you OP.

>Is this a thing?
mutts have had download caps since the dawn of time. if you want unlimited bandwidth then you need to pay up exorbitant amounts.

Youtube supports uploading flac. Which it then encodes to a lossy format.

>Using the YT web version to listen to music.

Just use youtube-dl + audacity + mpv.

get fucked tubers
