I like that Apple apps open slower. It gives me time to sit back and appreciate what a glorious piece of hardware I'm holding. It's about the journey, not the destination. Apple knows this and execute on it very well. Just another reason Android will always be playing catch up.

That could be some optimisation issue. Both with the game as well as iOS. The version 12.1 is rolling out soon and it will be rather large to install some guys psoted on YouTube to be over 2gigs for the newer iPhones.
